Specs in my sig. Will there be a driver issue!? Was looking to finally make the plunge on a SSD and dual boot for a bit and noticed some google posts about hardware/driver issues with Sandy Bridge!? If so whats the lowest I can go for specs? Or should I just upgrade soon? LOL :)
 
Running Windows 10 Professional on one of Intel's greatest processors here not a problem in the world!

As individual platforms, Sandy Bridge and x58 rock.

you shouldn't have any issues. I've got several older intel systems all running 10 pro without a hitch. I'm typing on a q965 based pos...
 
Thanks guys! Maybe I'll save some coin and just get a SSD and dual boot for a bit or something! :)
 
With those system specs (specifically the memory) and an SSD, not only will you be able to run Windows 10 perfectly, but you'll be able to virtualize any other OS you may want to run.

I've been running SSD's for years, I'm actually running an m.2 SSD on my x58 system and it's bootable.
