There's no Windows 11 until there is. Companies change their mind. 10 has a stink on it now because they waited too long to provide a telemetry opt out and provide better control over updates.
10 marketshare is stalled at around 29%, with only a 4% gain in almost a year. Meanwhile 7 lost only half a percent share in the same timeframe, and holds steady at around 46%. That's off the charts bad for a new flagship OS.
I wouldn't be surprised if they rebrand and we just get "Windows" - no version numbers so they can't be held accountable to a bad one.
Essentially, they've been giving away an OS and people are saying "we don't want it". Now they're pushing for a fire sale by pushing a last chance offer to upgrade to Windows 10 before the free offer runs out.
