As the title states, I have a 4770k, no OC at the momnet, And a 650w PSU. I'm worried that A: 4770k will need to be upgraded and B: the PSU doesn't have the horses to keep everything going. Any help would be ppretitated

What is the model of the 650w PSU? If its anything decent then you should be ok even with an OC on the 4770k.

your fine, Im running a ryzen 1700 @ 3.8ghz and a OC'd 1080 on a 550w. if its a decent PSU your fine

I am running a 1080ti and 4790k on a 450w psu so you should be good.

Ultra is an OK psu brand, not really high end but should be good enough for what you need.

Dont know if its worth anything, since i bought into the long warranty, 80 plus gimmicks, and oversize PSU gimmicks but I think EVGA has a power meter to see whats required. Input your build, and it will spit out a power min

I doubt you will have any issues. My 4770K @4.7 , and a 1080TI pull slightly over 500 at the wall.

What you are doing is downright stupid. If you are overclocking at all then you are pushing that psu to its limits.

Yeah right around 500 at the wall from me too in the really demanding games.

You'll be fine. My system pulls just over 500 watts from the wall on demanding games and that includes a pair of monitors.

I'm a bit surprised a PSU company hasn't come along with an integrated power meter that can connect through USB and show real-time power draw.

yeah that would make it easy have it measure per rail too!

Asus AXi series do have that feature, using corsair link you can see and manage everything in the PSU, including power load by Amperage or Wattage.. And I guess it's also the same for other smart asus PSU series as HXi and RMi

this is an example

Didn't realize that you could use the Link app for PSU power draw. I switched to an EVGA PSU a few years ago, I wish it had something like that so I could see my PSU stats.

I'm running a 4770 nonk and a 1080ti. I'm running at 2560 x 1440 and I'm sure I'm not running at absolute max frames, but my experience is awesome.

The MasterWatt Maker 1200 has a wireless module you can connect with an app on your phone to monitor stats. I have one but I still have yet to try it out.

Back in the day, Ultra was one of the first PSUs to offer modular connection and flat "flex-force" cables.
They were also one of the first to offer a 1000W PSU.
I owned this one.

This is what jonnyguru had to say......definately not a POS : http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story4&reid=41

That PSU should do OK as long as you don't OC all your stuff too much.

I have a 3770k and I'm still fine with running this card. Games these days aren't very cpu intensive. Don't worry about it.
