Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be fully voice acted after all.

I just saw the latest update, and it looks and sounds phenomenal. Thrilled they were able to go with a full orchestra, always a nice treat in these kinds of games. And the update to the voice overs was interesting too. It looks like they hired some voice over studio to have that work done, did not even know that was a thing but I guess it makes sense for a company to specialize in voice overs to give those kinds of actors more consistent work and to streamline the process for smaller game studios of getting access to voice over talent. I wonder how much that cost?
As of right now, this is my most anticipated game of the year.
Forgive me or being totally ignorant, but is OS2 a direct sequel to OS1?
I've been waiting for this but haven't followed it closely and haven't touched the beta. If I play through Act one now will that save be viable for the release? Or do they recommend starting a new game?
Download it in the airport and play it on the plane!Of course it comes out the day I leave for my Vegas business trip.
Today is launch day people are actually playing in other time zones in the world like New Zealand I would suspect.
They can't flip the switch on Steam to release the game because their server that is authorized to do so is dead after a major power outage in the city. Release might be delayed?
I have a business laptop. It would run like crapDownload it in the airport and play it on the plane!
My first ~40 hrs of the first game was on a crappy 300 buck laptop. The gameplay made it worth the choppinessI have a business laptop. It would run like crap
I'll get bored too quick if I do that.My first ~40 hrs of the first game was on a crappy 300 buck laptop. The gameplay made it worth the choppiness
Next week I'll be able to play this game I like how hardly anyone finished the 1st game LOL for I think I checked achievements and it was like 6.6 percent actually finished the game. My only complaint about DOS 2 is they went overboard in the graphics department so I turned them down to Medium.
anyone have any sort of review on this game? was thinking of giving it a try.. how does this series/game compare to like KoToR or DragonAge etc.?

The biggest difference is the combat style. Divinity:OS is turn-based with action points. KotOR and DA are real-time with pause. What they have in common is that they're heavy on dialogue and the RPG aspects. I was one of the people who were disappointed that Divinity:OS went with turn-based with actions points... that is, until i played it. I think i've been converted. I've since tried to play a couple games which are Real time with pause and it's just too much to micromanage all the time. I now much prefer Divinity's combat.
RPG games usually never make it that high I can't believe how many people are playing PUBG
Just got the game for $13. Lets see how it goes.
How'd you get it for $13?
