I REALLY hope the absence of USB 3.1 gen 2 in the specifications are a mistanke as two of those are included in the X370 chipset. I have been waiting for this board since Ryzen launch and will skip if if indeed the specifications are correct.

I grabbed a screenshot from HardwareCanucks video which just says "USB 3.0" but considering it still doesn't have a product page I dunno....

There's also some higher resolution images that show printed on the motherboard as USB_3_TC_1 and USB3_TA_1.

Link to image I zoomed in on: https://smallformfactor.net/wp-content/uploads/ASRock-ITX-AM4-5.jpg

Edit: It's just USB 3.0 no typos googled the above and got this taken from the ASRock Killer board manual:
USB 3.0 Type-A Port (USB3_TA_1). 3. Central / Bass (Orange). 11. USB 3.0 Type-C Port ( USB3_TC_1)

That's odd.. the AMD socket AM4 chipset features clearly state http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/chipsets/am4
370x USB 3.1 G2 + 3.1 G1 + 2.0 : 2+10+6
350b USB 3.1 G2 + 3.1 G1 + 2.0 : 2+6+6

Why would they not use this essential feature of the chipset? Maybe the board was originally designed for the X300 chipset that has no gen2 chipset support that AMD developed for ITX systems and Asrock just slapped some of the other chips on there without changing the tracings, i.e. no gen2 support?

It's one thing the board has been delayed, but it seemed crippled as well. Such a shame.

Over on SmallFormFactor Forum, they said that apparently there's some sort of limitation on the length of board traces for USB 3.1, and they couldn't manage to make that work.

I hope this becomes available soon and more quantity than Biostars .

NEWEGG just had 33 percent off Lian Li Q10WX and so ordered one !

It's a quite nice looking board, but the wifi card has the antenna connectors too close to each other. I am not sure it is possible to use your own antennas there, which would be a shame.

Specifications state it supports all types of memory including 3466 and 3200 ...but QVL doesn't show any 3200 exept a 4GB from Patriot ..only a handful of 3000 too

Hope this goes live soon

Is not the G.Skill Flare X Series RAM (2 @ 8GB 3200/14 DIMMs available) the "Go-To" Ryzen build RAM...?

Strange thing is NO REVIEWs anywhere .. Gigabyte ab350n wifi ITX reviews on youtube but NONE for the asrock am4 gaming ITX .

I have one of each of the boards and haven't even opened the x370 ..the ab350 is rockin so far

Kenny

Well, its only been barely available in the US, right? Probably some reviews will start rolling in soon with increased availability.

I'm getting this in next week with the G.Skill 3200 set and Ryzen 1700. I will post here once I get it all.

Both the ASRock B350 and X370 boards are currently in stock at the egg again. Just ordered an X370 for the 1700 I've had sitting around.

I need to return the X370I got and order another AB350 - mine is holding solid and my buddy saw my system and wants one.

I wonder how much better the wifi card is on the X370 version vs. the B350 version. Also, just seems like Asrock added support for bi-furication for the X370. Other than that, no real differences, so it is probably better to just pocket some extra cash for the expensive 32gb ram kits these days.

I'm glad they did this and all. I really wish they'd do an E series ryzen board.

They haven't had an E series since z97.

But, something like the z270m itx but with a full set of audio ports. would be amazing. 2 lan ports, and extra USB. No DVI...

Seems like there are some slight incompatibilities between the BeQuiet AM4 kit back-plate and this ITX board. I think I need to grind down the 2-3mm edges to prevent it from overlapping some components on the back. Not ideal, but I will hopefully make it work.

Im really looking forward to using this board in my next build, just trying to hold out on a Dan A4 R.2 case.

There's an AGESA 1.0.0.6b bios up as of 9/6:

1.Update AGESA to 1.0.0.6b. No memory ABL(AGESA Boot Loader) or training changes.
2.Add setup options to select SMART fan temperature source. Change default to monitor external CPU temperature.
PS1. Windows update is available for version P3.00 or later.

It's up for AB350itx as well. Currently running ram at 3200 MHz at 14-16-16-32-54. Is it possible, after I update the BIOS, my ram would have to be set to worse settings, I kinda like where i'm at an don't want to change anything?

Hard to say. Presumably you can roll back. Myself, I have 3000Mhz RAM that will only run at 2133 even with XMP or the right timings manually entered. I haven't yet tried slower settings like 2400 or 2667.
