Forum Notifications

Is there anything you can do about the forum notifications? Going to the forums where you aren't signed in leaves the entire page filled with notifications.

If you are not signed in and come back, they will be there again. It is not cookied.
 
Is there a time limit for the notifications? I just counted 8 of them that I had to dismiss. Even on 1920 x 1200 it's basically the full page of just notifications.

If you dismiss those and leave the page then come back not logged in, those will reappear.
 
I actually fell into another scenario than that. They have been up there for a while and I didn't discover you could dismiss them until I had enough to search here to see if there was a way to get rid of them. I should have taken a screenshot but I'm guessing some of those notifications could have been from more than a week ago. Just curious if they would automatically go away at some point on their own or if we are required to dismiss those every time or they will never go away.

We control those manually. All you have to do to close those is click the X on the notice. If you are logged in, you dismissal is remembered by the system.
