MSI VR ONE - Wireless VR Backpack Review @ [H]

The MSI VR ONE is quite simply a full PC that comes in the form of a backpack that allows you to connect your HTC Vive or Oculus Rift for a "wireless" VR experience.

Please remove "or Oculus Rift", or replace "or" with "not", since Oculus Rift does not support "wireless" experience.

Not just that but Oculus support flat out says they don't support the MSI VR One. A headset I attached refused to display video and their response was that it's not on the certified mobile PC list so it's not supported.

Forgetting the HMD, just getting all those Rift camera sensors to hook up wirelessly to the backpack would also be a real bitch of a problem as well...

TP cast should work... no real difference technically between streaming HDMI video and USB audio for either the Vive or the Rift.

The reason the MSI VR One backpack won't work well with a Rift is all the camera sensor USB connections needed.

Done. Sorry for my error.
