You guys keep saying Linux is so much better and so easy to use, yet you forget most “standard” programs aren’t supported. Sure you can use alternatives (OpenOffice, libreoffice) but what’s the point? If you have to use one all day at work, why subject yourself to having to relearn/deal with a different program at home? When something does go wrong you get to spend your time searching the forums for a half decent guide to fix it. And thats not even considering gaming. I play the games I care about, not what some OS limits me to.
At the end of the day you won’t covince most people to move from Windows to Linux, there’s just no point learning a new OS when nobody else uses it.
