JBL LSR308 for PC gaming/music/movies

I'm moving soon and am selling some audio and HT equipment rather than haul it with me. I can get a new pair of LSR308 monitors for about $500. Will add a subwoofer later. Any other monitors worth considering? I have a good DAC and would like to spend no more than $600 for monitors. Thanks!

LSR708:s are also good as are many others. Question is mainly about price.
