any new news on the release date for nVidia's 20 series cards? Last I read the rumor was possible 3rd Q in 2017

V100 seems to be shipping now to select customers. Expect a GV104 and perhaps GV106 in Q4. GV102 in Q1.

End of 2017 would be a typical 1.5 year release cycle. With it being the same node and non-HBM it could come sooner.

Cycle has been usually around 2 years for the past few gens. Besides, vega will barely match high-end pascal and stock is flying because of mining craze. Nvidia can easily wait for gddr6 in 2018 for release of volta.

I was really looking forward to getting a 1070 but with the recent price gouging going on I'm definitely holding off since I don't have anything queued up to play right now. I'll probably grab a 2060 or something which should be equal or better than a 1070.
