On the https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z97PRO/HelpDesk_Download/ page I see there are a number of updates that I can install for my mobo.

However, ASUS seem to assume that users know how to install these as there aren't instructions bundles within the ZIP files for the files. Which is a little frustrating.

I'd like to know the best approach to follow for installing all these updates. Does ASUS offer this information, or could someone share it?

I'm most concerned about the BIOS update.

Thanks.

Is your system not working properly? Why are you concerned with updating it?

With regards to BIOS updates, it's usually best to use a "if it ain't broke don't fix it" approach.

Download the bios update, put it on a USB stick, reboot the machine, go in to bios (follow prompts) and there should be an update option. Point it to the file.

If that isn't clear enough, consult your motherboard manual.

Should all be spelled out in the motherboard manual - if you don't have that you can get a PDF from their site.
