Need your HardOCP on the go? Check out our newly revamped mobile site that will work out well with your phone or tablet. Please feel free to leave us your feedback and suggestions for making it better.

It's sexy

Love the dark red menu!

I like the featured articles section. The articles section on the menu could use a all recent articles in addition to the categories.

I don't see the link to access the desktop version like the old one had.

Nice and tidy, and I feel like it loads faster, although that could be a placebo. News isn't separated by day anymore, but I'm sure that won't bother me.

What I like most is that to read an article I don't have to click through an extra page to get there anymore. I hope that doesn't hurt your ad revenue too much. It's very convenient.

I like it! Took me a couple tries before i realized it was opening hidden content instead of a new page... "Why the f### does the back button always dump me off the site?" Ohhhhh.... ;)

First time I saw the new mobile site, I was like "wtf, did I break something?"

Then I started tapping around, and I like it a lot

Looks good. Seems to work well......
But I can't seem to get full resolution photos in articles. Just larger sized low-res photos.

Good design though.

it's nice when you aren't used to the old site. Did a little old man complaining at first cause there was nothing I thought wrong with the old site to warrant a change.

Overall it's not bad. Though I think you and Imgur changed at the same time/day so it really fucked me over lol. Thought it was my phone doing some wacky front end changes in the browser.

We have added date headers to the news days. We have added "settings" in menu, that will allow you to set the news feed to be collapsed or un-collapsed. You can set your default site on your device as well if you do not want to see the mobile version on your device. We will likely put another ad between days since this format is going to bring down page serves HUGELY. Sorry, but that is doing business.

I like it. I only browse the web on mobile devices now so I'll say goodbye to the old page. I'll echo ecmaster76 above and say it would be nice to have an all articles link in the link box, so I can make sure I'm not missing any of them. And a small link to access the desktop page would be nice as well but not really necessary.

The new site loads quite quickly on my old Galaxy S5. I really like not having to load another page to read a piece of news, I was shocked at how quickly it displays the content. Looks great so far! :)

Ad free subscription? Or is that too much hassle? I do most of my browsing on mobile now a days so I really appreciate the improvements.
Is three ads on a single page with 4 featured articles and 20 news stories out of line? And we have made those ads very much identifiable.

He'll get more money with the ads than a subscription. At least, i think he will.

IM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY KYLE WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME??!!

No, of course not. It was just a thought. I don't know anything about making a living with a website, I turn wrenches for my pay.

I have never seen any business model projections that come close to suggesting that we could pay our editors with a subscriber model.

Looks great! I definitely like how the sections aren't all separated like before.

I'm not a fan of mobile sites. My phone is set to request desktop version of every webpage for the sake of consistency. There are some good mobile sites out there, but the terrible ones made me set desktop version as the default.

So I never even known there was a mobile version of hardocp, but I did visit it a few times from mobile. Maybe next time I make an exception.

Every time I try to click through from Hardforum to an article on HardOCP, I get a 404. Surely I can't be the only one experiencing this?

Could you be more specific on what links where exactly? Also, OS, device?

Adblock Browser version 1.1.1
No extensions
Android 6.0.1

I know ads fund your business and please note that on my desktop browsers hardocp.com and hardforum.com are whitelisted.
We are not testing with adblock browser, you are on your own for support.

Wow, can't believe that you'd even post that the browser you're having trouble with is made to block ads.

New mobile site works great Kyle. Didn't use the old one much because I didn't care for it. I might actually use this more.

The new mobile site crashes my browser.
Unresponsive script
https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0.js:125
Once the this script becomes unresponsive, the browser hangs and I have to restart the app..

I just re-verified that our pages pass the AMP validation test, therefore based on the error, I'd conclude that the problem is with the end devise or AMP's js. Since you have ad-block installed, I would contact AMP support for additional direction. I have included a link incase (https://www.ampproject.org/support/developer/)

I considered not sharing about the browser. On my phone I will not use any other browser. I have a very high amount of respect for this site and the work that goes into making it. Which is why I whitelist a very small number of sites, including this one, to support them. Unfortunately, the ad block browser in android does not have this functionality. If that means I can no longer read articles while indisposed, I'll just have set aside time at my desk to do so.

Cliff Thank you for checking.

As to adblockers in general:
It is my opinion that to surf the internet without an adblocker is akin to having windows and not antivirus.
I use adblockers on all browsers on my desktops/laptops. Good, reputable sites with long histories and ads from very reputable adservers can deliver a bad ad.

My sincere apologies if discussing adblockers is taboo on hardforum.
