Waterblock For GTX 1080

The "regular 1080" meaning the Founders Edition? That block looks to be killer for it. Wish EK would've made one for my card.

Yeah similar to the FE cause it has the blower type cooler, but not the FE per say.

Performance-wise, they're all damn near identical. So basically go for one in your price range that looks good to you.

Yup, couldn't find a better deal than $375 after rebates. (after 8% ebay cash and 5% ebates rebate).

This should be a nice upgrade over my R9 280.

What waterblock are people getting for their regular 1080's?

I currently have a EKWB for my R9 280 so I figured I would go with the below block.

I have this one on my Founder's Edition 1080. It works great, and offers the convenient advantage of being one of the least expensive blocks on the market. It comes in different finishes, if you want a clear top or nickel plating.

I know this is late and probably not relevant anymore, but I just got a Gigabyte 1080 Waterforce WB. $600 for the GPU with a really nice EK-esque full cover block already installed.

MSI makes one too. The Seahawk EK or something like that. I gather the water jacket it comes with is actually made by EK, as it happens.

Yeah, MSI's is definitely an EK block. Gigabyte's isn't branded, at least not in any of their promo material. I almost ordered MSI's, then I saw Gigabyte's... much better aesthetic on Gigabyte's, IMO. Currently working on a vertical mount for that puppy.
