I've been googling in circles for the past 3 hours on how to add madVR to Kodi. madVR works in potplayer perfectly so i am sure it is installed properly but it seems that DSplayer has been stripped from kodi as i can't find any trace of it going back to version 16.1 (and up 17.2). Since all guide use 16.1 and dsplayer as their reference i am stumped. not even the dsplayer setting folder exists.

The DSPlayer builds have never really got much love or support from the Kodi establishment as by their nature they're Windows-only and so don't fit in with Kodi's cross-platform compatibility objective.
