DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

Jesus
$235,743 and the first day is not over. At this rate its going to surpass the DAN case v1. Small form factor is now more popular than ever and it looks like no major manufacturers are taking note of this.

I am backer #612 !
Thanks for creating this beautiful case dondan, I've personally been going back and forth on Lian-li's product page hoping to fulfill my needs for SFF case such as this DAN A4 case without any luck.
THAT'S NO MORE though :)

btw, quick question, I also left it in the comment section on Kickstarter but you must be really busy upkeeping the campaign launch.
my question is, Luke from LTT said in his review that power switch push feedback was not very tactile in the v1 of the case, Has this area been considered for a change at all for v2?

1:30 ~ 1:35 ish in the video

dondan, congrats on already surpassing your pledge goal! As a previous v1 backer, I suggest you save yourself some headaches and angry tempers and don't cheap out on shipping this time around!

Shipping Jan 2018? Is that a conservative if everything fails estimate or the real expected delivery date?

dondan, just wondering if you have any temperature data for this window kit? All I could find was the link in the first post to the test using the prototype tempered glass panel with no cutout and the temperature penalty was very high. Was hoping this version on kickstarter has better performance thanks to the inclusion of the cutouts... (feel like picking up a set but temperature performance will be critical as I live in a very hot country)

So cool to see my build on the kickstarter site. Thanks for featuring it Dan, hope the pic helps sell a few more cases

Congrats Dan on blowing away your v2 goal!

I'm # 1331, but I would have preferred # 1337! :)

I just received my custom cables from Cablemod and I have to admit I am really disappointed.

Here is the 24pin PSU cable.

MTbVHq+

Because the clips for the connectors are on the same side, all the cables are crossing over each other. This is very messy and significantly detracts from the goal of having cut to length cables.

Other examples I have seen have been so much better. Is this how it should be or should I be contacted Cablemod and complaining?

Because of the way it's crossed, it might actually end up looking better once it is installed because the connection from the PSU to the motherboard is already crossed. Not 100% about this though. Have you tried installing it on the PSU/motherboard yet?

I checked mine and they were not crossed like yours, but I did have some slight difficulty getting them to look good when installed in the case because of it

Do a dry run like I did below and see how it looks before contacting cablemod

You should see the WinfMOD one ! The photo can speak for it self :(
Cablemod is much better than what I have.

sorry didn't notice it.

Uhmm am planning a evga 1050 ti or an volta iteration of it. Wonder which would provide the better temps the single fan or dual fans? Single fan is considerably smaller and maybe I can fit an aio on the side of it for the processor just like what one posted at dan a4 build compilations.

kingpin..
but not fit..

Haha it ALMOST fit. was so surprised to see them keep it a two slot card. Then i noticed the pcie connectors at the back. Haha no way it will fit the dan a4 now.
You never know, there is that gap on the front of the case that may "hopefully" line up with the connectors.

It will fit if you cut a hole in the inner front to route the cables in the area between outer and inner frame.

If somebody measure the pcb i can add the holes to v2 without extra costs.

If kingpin is fitted, there will be symbolism .Because the kingpin is high-end 1080 ti. However, the launch date for kingpin is scheduled for July.

Mounting a 15 mm hdd at the bottom section does not fit the screw hole. Is it possible to modify version 2?
