Photos of the CNC dummy models of the iPhone 8 chassis have supposedly leaked, and their details appear to align with the rumors that have been surrounding the handset: a nearly full-screen display adorns a stainless-steel frame, and on the back is an inlet for a vertically oriented camera system. It looks a little thick to me…

The rumor mill for the iPhone 8 is seemingly flip-flopping between two distinct designs for Apple’s 2017 flagship iPhone, one made of aluminium and another more drastic look with a curved glass front and back. The latest unverified leaks from today depict the latter device. These photos show an iPhone made of glass and stainless steel with the front screen seemingly going edge-to-edge with no discernible bezel. There is also no Touch ID visible on the back, implying it will be integrated under the display.

I do enjoy that we hear about iPhone 8 leaks but no news on the almost inevitable 7s.

Also I enjoy having a bezel as it space for hand placement where I am not touching my fucking screen.

Agreed. Need some bezel

Agree with wanting the bezel. I don't see why people are into not having a spot to grip the phone as I almost never just let it sit in the balm of my hand.

We're not hearing about the 7s, because it's not going to have many changes, I suspect. Mostly a new processor, some new color and probably an improved camera.
I don't care about touching the bezel/screen. You touch your screen every time you use it and while the fingerprints look awful when the screen is off, they're invisible when the screen is on.
I'm not sure about glass back vs aluminum, but my gut says glass is better. I just wish the edge of the phone was squared. Rounded edges are harder to hold, especially if you get the larger model.

This is why I put a sticker on my phone. WAY too hard to keep hold of the (very slick) 6S+.

Judging by the technical schematic, there's plenty of bezel to not touch the screen by accident.

I put a case on it. It also has a kickstand which is useful for watching video while doing something else on my computer, cleaning up or making something to eat.

I wouldn't trust anything from this guys twitter feed.

can't stand cases, I prop my phone up with a coaster.

It occurs to me that Apple could literally call it "iPhone 8 Dummy Model" and sales wouldn't skip a beat.

Impressive, really.
