AMD’s newest drivers (17.4.3) include support for three items: the RX 570, RX 580, and Windows 10 Creators Update. (Be sure to check out our PowerColor RX 580 review here.) You can hit up the official release notes for the rest of the known issues.

Known Issues
  • Radeon WattMan may fail to apply settings on some Radeon R9 390 series graphics products.
  • Radeon Settings may crash on switching Windows user after toggling AMD CrossFire technology mode.
  • A small amount of apps may still experience issues with Borderless Fullscreen mode and AMD FreeSync technology if other applications or game launchers are running on the primary screen in the background.
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and World of Warcraft may experience flickering or performance issues the first time the game is launched on a system boot with AMD FreeSync technology enabled. Workarounds include exiting and restarting the application or task switching (alt+tab) in and out of the game to fix the issue.

I get it AMD I need to upgrade but you refuse to launch Vega. They'll never fix Watt man I guess for my cards. Tried the latest update for creators so I could install it and lost overclocking on both GPUs and get massive stuttering when the clocks don't synch.

I think they have officially abandoned the r9 series.

Well, guess what AMD? You abandon me, I will abandon you.

I got so sick of waiting for async reprojection support (which may never come to the R9) that I finally gave up and bought a GTX 1070, which is a world of difference from the r9 390.

Anyone want to buy a 10-month-old MSI r9 390?
