Hey guys!

Back in late March / the beginning of April, a press release was sent around announcing the release of FSP's new power supplies, the 'Dagger' line.

At 500w and 600w, these are much higher wattage units than FSP has previously made, and they're both Gold rated.

For those of you who don't know, FSP is the fifth largest PSU manufacturer in the world, and is the OEM for high-end PSUs including Silverstone and Antec!

I personally would put them in the number two slot, just below Seasonic in my mental rankings. I'm quite excited to see how these units compare to the Corsair PSUs.

The Dagger lineup can be found both on newegg and on Amazon.

Any reviews on how this compares to the Corsair SF600? Most interested in the noise.

Not yet, I'm waiting for Jonnyguru's review. He had a news post on it's announcement, and has covered all the big SFX power supplies before this, so I have my fingers crossed.

Also, I have contacted FSP through Facebook, asking what fan they're using, if the internal components leave room to replace the stock 80mm fan with a 92mm one, and exactly what brand(s) of Japanese capacitors are being used. As soon as I get a reply, I'll post back here. :)
