Hieello!

So I'm very new to this forum and just got in to some pc case modding. This project that I've just started is my first ever custom pc desk that I'm making so i thought I would share it with you guys. I've documented alot of the progress so far so I will add some pictures as the project is progressing. There are also some sketches that i made in sketchup to give me some kind of blueprint to work from and to give me a general idea of what i wanted my desk to look like.

I will also mention that this is kind of a budget build since my plans at the moment are that I will put my current pc in this desk wich includes the following parts:

Intel i5 6500
Z170 MOBO
240mm A-I-O cooling
16gb 3000mhz ram
GTX 1070
650watt psu

This is something that I hopefully will be available to update pretty soon since a pc-desk is not really complete without a custom water cooling loop. But for the moment there is just not enough €€/$$.

I've named the desk B-2 Stealth since i think that the shape of the desk reminds me alot of the B-2 stealth bomber jet so nothing more fancy or cheesy just a shape thingy! :p

So hope you enjoy what i have done so far and i will keep you posted.

CHEERS

Here are some more pics of current progress. I went out and bought a tinted acrylic board that i cut to fit the top of the table. I would have preffered a tempered glass but again €€/$$ issue! But I can always update this later. Next up wil be to start making the bottom board that my components will be attached to and also figure out a case of some sort underneath it that i can run my cabels true sine i wish for almost NO wisible cables when looking in to it from the top.

Right on! A custom build should be supported by a smart custom build desk setup. Incorporating cooling loops, power distribution, wire harnesses in a desk could be very useful. I've seen some pretty outstanding builds but then placed on a table, too small of a desk etc.

Se here's a little update or not so little since i've taken the table back to my house and started to pu the components in place. I also apllied a thick carbon vinyl to the bottom board to give it a nicer more "stealthier" look. There are still alot of finishing touches before posting my final build pics but there coming so just hold on :D

I'm also having some issues since my ssd placements caused me an issue since the sata power cords where to short to give the ssd:s a clean look so i will have to figure something out. The placements of the components has also changed a bit wich you will se from my pictures. And off course some rgb lights were added.
This is what i've got so far, hope you enjoy.

Cheers!

Thanks everybody! Sorry for the wait but i have an ace up my sleeve :p seems that the stealth desk will have an custom cooling loop after all :D :D :D Stay tuned for more news soon.

Here's a small update on some cable management (psu cover) and some metal strips that i glued to the acrylic window to hide the led strips and to make it look better where the window lays on the edge of the table.

I'm also waiting for some parts that should arrive this week wich will change alot on my build. The parts that are on the way are some cable extension for the ssd so i can fix the cable mess on that side to and for the big news ALPHACOOL has decided to sponsor this build and has shipped me all the parts that i need for a custom water cooling loop. So thank you very much Alphacool and Aquatuning.com for making it possible. The parts that I will be cooling are the CPU and GPU.

When stuff starts arriveing i will let you guys know and upload some pics.

Cheers!

Needs a bigger monitor! The setup looks ridiculous as is with that tiny screen and a huge custom desk :)

Jieepp thats true Ocellaris. Just need to get some €€/$$ and then its first on my shopping list

Looks great! I think you should make something to mount the SSDs. It will look finished and professional. It'll be the icing on the cake.

Thanks! Yeah i have some ideas for the SSDs and hard drives but i have to wait for some cable extensions so I can make it happen. It will also allow me to tidy up the cables on that side of the mobo

I made a short test video for the desk just to upload my first youtube video and to prepare for the watercooling gear that will arrive this week :D so feel fre to check out current progress if you are interested and stay tuned for a bigger update really soon.

Cheers!

Hello guys,

sorry for the late update but here it is.

A very big shout out to Alphacool and Aquatuning for delivering the parts needed for the Custom loop!

I'm also going to take some nicer pictures soon!

Also if you have any suggestions for the colour of the liquid please let me know. I have the following colours I can use:
-Mayhems pastel white
-Mayhems blue dye
- Mayhems uv pink
- Mayhems uv laser green dye

I think I'm going for the pastel white whit some blue dye in it to give it a light pastel blue colour. Let me know what you think!

I'm very impressed with the cooling performance which is no surprise since it's alphacool and the rads are more then plenty for future upgrades aswell!

Hope you guys like it

Sick build! I've been tempted many times to tackle a custom desk but the amount of work required has always scared me off. Your setup looks super professional, awesome work.

Thanks alot TrailRunner! Yeah it has been alot of work and its still not finished cause i want to put some more finishing touches on it. And speaking from experience it has taken alot longer then expected :)

Amazing work! I just hope you plan to hide the monitor cables in the wall or at least use one of those stick on conduits.

I did a fluid change and decided to go with mayhems pastel white. I think that it fits the builds colour theme perfectly and I will definately keep it this way for some time. I also made a radiator cover from a piece of acrylic which turned out pretty good in my opinion ;) And offcourse I want to show off who made the custom loop possible Alphacool and Aquatuning so thanks alot again to you guys! I have to say the temps are very good right now I did some tests by running my overclocked gtx 1070 on heaven benchmark loop and on the same time I also put my overclocked i5 6500 (4,4ghz) on 100% load by looping cinebench r15 and i couldnt get my cpu to hit more then 56c on the package and my gpu got to a max temp of 32c so I can only say that I'm very happy to see theese kind of results. Yeah and even better i had all of my fans and the alphacool vpp755 waterpump set to silent mode in the asus bios

Cheers!
