My old z68 was showing its age and I wanted to build a new rig. I'm happy how this came out. I have a lighting kit I might install but the fans and mobo leds are doing the job pretty well. I'll push that CPU overlock to 4.4ish soon. I'm after stability here more than max oc. And if I want to turn it into a more powerful gaming rig all I need is a 1070 or something (@1440p on this display).

Not done yet, but I am throwing together spare parts into the $10 case and $25 motherboard deals recently. I still need a cheap 1150 proc and a graphics card. This is going to be in the living room.

The cable management isn't too shabby in this case for $10 given the PSU I am working with isn't modular and has crazy long cables. (Corsair TX750 V1)

Love the red theme buid, but only suggestion, I would have it to rotate the Corsair H100i to create better exhaust flow.

*SNIP*

What case is that? I like the form factor, and $10 doesn't sound too bad either..

(Edit: I assume you mean why I went with exhausting into the case over the other way around?)

Thanks. I tell you I debated this for a *while* and because the air that comes from my front fans is very dispersed by the time it hits my mobo area I decided to have my h100 fans drawing air from the top. So yeah I have a lot of fans drawing air in. Even under load the air that comes out of my h100 is barely warm, so it creates a nice air flow over my mobo area. At 4.4ghz (1.235v) my 6600k was hitting 50c max under Prime95 at the 2 hour mark. My goal was a cool running system with low rpm fans I can leave on a lot and it's doing that nicely so far.
