DAN A4-SFX: The smallest gaming case in the world

This was an error of Caseking, they setup the A4-SFX in their internal system (not in their web shop) so it was visible for the call center. So if you called the call center today morning, it was possible to make a preorder. Caseking informed me about this mistake and I said they should stop this, because everyone should get the same chance in February. The five guys that ordered one via phone had luck, but they also have to wait until February for shipping. From legal side it is impossible to cancel those five orders. In February it will be possible to order the case over the Web shop of Caseking and OverclockersUK. I will make a countdown on my page and every subscriber will get 7 days before a "information mail".

And Again: Caseking will only ship to EU and OverlclockersUK will ship worldwide.

But first at all the Kickstarter cases have the highest priority for me. So before the case will be available on retail I will ship the Kickstarter cases!

So technically, i beat the system :p But it that means that my case is secured, then so be it! I can't wait :D

I would totally buy off your friend since z77 ITX boards are rare and still carry a lot of value. The i7 shouldn't hold you back either, but you definitely won't be able to OC on the L9i as it already runs hotter than the newer chips.
Do they?
That's good to hear, I've got a P8Z77I Deluxe I'll probably be getting rid of by summer, and any extra value is a great thing to hear!
Edit: Just looked and WOAH! Was not expecting those prices.

That's because there's only a few models of Z77 ITX boards, and even those are pretty scarce.

7700k test
room temp : 20~23c
l9i+nf f12 pwm
l9i+nf a9 pwm
cryorig c7
nh d15s
7700k default ram auto
7700k all core 4.5g 1.17v (under volt) ram 3000mhz 1.3v
program: linx 0.7 , real temp, cpu-z

noise : c7> l9i+nf a9pwm

Thanks for taking the time to try all of these out and share the results. Unfortunately we won't know which fan/heatsync combination is the best until they're placed in the case, as I believe the difference in overall height, and therefore space between case wall and fan, will cause different temperature and sound performance.

At the expense of someone honest who was waiting for the proper way to order if after the date has been announced by Dondan.

I guess I was in luck then when I managed to get a hold of an unused Asrock Z77E-ITX motherboard for 350 sek (~$39) :)

Not his fault though...It's casekings fault if any :)

If i knew i was "jumping the queue" then i would not have done it. All i did was contact caseking and ask for a pre-order, and they set me up.

Also, i made a post about pre-ordering through caseking, giving other people the chance to get in aswell, not knowing this was not meant to be possible.

dondan: We will get an email 7 days in advance, before the case will be available for purchase on overclockers.co.uk and caseking.de - if possible, could please ensure this email includes the specific time of day the cases will be released? I don't live in an EU timezone, I'd hate to miss the boat because I was asleep. I'm happy to get up in the middle of the night, but I'm not sure I'll be able to be up all night refreshing the page.

Also, do we have any thoughts as to how fast they'll sell? Are we expecting to sell out?

It's ok Theelichtje we still like you! In any case, when we all sit with the A4 at our side, all will be happy, warm and fussy, good times - with no hard feelings.

So, Dan confirmed that there will be 1920 cases.

If we take the kickstarter numbers, there are 1530 kickstarted cases, which would leave 390 cases overall.

I would expect a larger number of cases to be send to overclockers.co.uk, purely because they send internationally.

Random guess, 190 cases for overclockers, 100 for casekings? Either way, they will probably go quite fast, as 390 cases isn't a lot.

That's not entirely correct. There are 1530 campaign backers, since you were able to buy 2, there are even more Kickstarter cases (i think around 1650)

The case numbering is random, so you have a 1 in 1920 chance getting your desired number. Still more likely than winning the lottery :D I want #0222, but the case itself even more!

I'm hoping for 289 or 1000 or something
We'll see!
I'd actually REALLY like to have #2089, but that isn't a thing so it won't happen :p

In the moment my shipment software is done with placing shipment and printing bill/invoice it will send you an email with shipping address so you can check it and the tracking link. The link will work after DHL get the shipment.

So excited for the case. I'm currently bench testing all of my components for my build.

have the same mobo! how do you like it? i couldnt wait for that strix z270 and have all my parts lying around.
I just pulled it out of my old build in the M1 because the classy doesn't fit in it. It's a great board though, no complaints whatsoever. I wanted the Strix pretty badly but it's pretty expensive and I didn't wanna wait for it.

The stock cooler that shipped with ivy bridge is surprisingly good in terms of keeping my 6700k in check. I was thinking of getting an L9i but unless this is too loud in the case I don't see a reason to shell out another $40.

how is your pwr supply? looks like the corsair one, is it loud? i got the silverstone 600w and its by far the most noticable noise in my setup.

I had the Silverstone 600w sfx but I switched to the sf600 for noise reasons. I can barely hear this supply over everything else in the case. In fact I ditched my 4tb HDD since it was too loud.

The corsair doesn't spin it's fan as much as the Silverstone even though they both have fans that turn off. With the Silverstone, the fan used to turn on in idle due to the fact that my system was drawing too much, and the design itself ran a lot hotter than the corsair. If you have an opportunity to sell the Silverstone and buy a Corsair, I would definitely suggest it.

I paid over $280 after shipping. You guys really want to buy one off someone for that + shipping +?

You selling yours? PM me

Me too!
If they sell out on Overclockers, I'd buy one [in unused/unopened condition] from an existing owner for a handsome markup + shipping.

Is it OK to post this here?
If not, then I'll delete it.
