would anyone have one or two drive caddies for a Dell OptiPlex 755?

Are these the light blue color ones? My parents company donated a ton of PCs to E-waste and for security reasons I yanked out all the drives with caddy and wiped them. I should have a bunch laying around for the cost of shipping.

If they're the SFF (slim desktop) models, the drive caddy is black plastic, and *very* finicky to get the drive out of without cracking it.

Yup.

I still haven't gotten to check dad's house for the caddy in his 755 buschman, and in fact he mentioned the possibility of giving that computer away the other day, but if he doesn't do that I won't forget ya.

Long stretch but does anyone happen to have a AM3+ mobo laying around? I got a gigabyte that just took a complete dump on me.

I can offer up the old school beast eVGA 8800GTX.

Or a few older bits of hardware
775 Pentium D 820 on a HP branded P5LP -LE
or
AMD x2 4200 on a Gateway Branded Foxconn/Winfast MCP61VM2MA-RS2H Mobo.
and either 2gb or 4gb DDR 2 ram (Stock Prefab ram)
Or all of it, id just like to find a stable AM3 mobo.

I have a Linksys E3000 router for the cost of shipping. Ports 2 and 4 don't work. You will need a power adapter.

I think I might have some slot covers for you. I'll need to check first though.

I also have a 5830 with a broken fan that I can give for cost of shipping. The card still works and boots into Windows, just needs a new fan if you want to do anything intensive with it.

Crazy chance of this happening but anyone got a good board for a i7-940? I was give a full setup but the board it came with is total shit. I was hoping to give it to a co-worker that got me my job at the current place as a upgrade to his old phenom. If I reboot randomly or do a cold boot one day it just causes my mech keyboard to flash back and forth. Even if not for free a good deal is worth it.

Also got a few things to throw on the table Of course just pay shipping and its yours.

Core 2 Quad Q6700
three sets of matching ram.

Buschman1 called dibs so it'll be a day or so before we'll know if its still up for grabs.

I have a Q9450 if that will work for you. I need to doublecheck when I get home but I am 99.9% positive I do. Yours for shipping.

I'd like to snag it if someone else doesn't and shipping isn't too expensive.

I got a relative who had a Phenom II x4 940 machine which crapped out. PSU went off and took the motherboard with it. I have a spare LGA775 board and PSU I rebuilt it with, but I only have an E5300 for it, which is considerably worse than the Phenom II it's supposed to replace and he doesn't have the cash right now to build a new rig.

The Q9450 I believe is spoken for but I also have a Q6600 I just found if that interests you and will work on your board. It's an SLACR Q6600

Anything is better than the E5300 currently in it, I'll take it if you don't mind.

Anyone need parts from a Dell XPS 410 PC? I am about to toss the shell into the trash. It has a bad motherboard but screws, panels, bay covers, drive trays etc are all there. If you need something let me know. All free, just pay for the shipping.

Full set of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 ThinkPad 11e recovery discs from Lenovo. Six discs in all. PM me to ask about compatibility. Free for the cost of postage.
Edit 6:50 PM Monday, January 16, 2017 (MST): transaction now pending
