Hmm, I'd be more apt for the engine funning FO4. Simply because I don't know if the new idtech engine scales for outdoor environments

That's going to be quite difficult. The game engine was able to do things that aren't easily accomplished in 3D. For example, one of the levels was circular, but it took 720 degrees of rotation, not 360 to get to do a full loop. Seamlessly done without any portals or the likes.

I almost liked it. It just felt unfinished and at the release the two weapon limits, no coop mode, gave it a console limitation that the ultimately ruined it.
