Pizza delivered by drone? Oh hell yeah, sign me up! The downsides? It's Domino's pizza and it's only in New Zealand. If one of you [H]'ers down under orders a drone delivered pizza we want video of the delivery. With any luck, drone delivery will become a thing here in the United States soon.

Aerial pizza delivery may sound futuristic but Domino's has been given the green light to test New Zealand pizza delivery via drones. The fast food chain has partnered with drone business Flirtey to launch the first commercial drone delivery service in the world, starting later this year. Domino's Group chief executive and managing director, Don Meij said the company had been investigating innovative and new delivery methods as business had grown.

Don't forget to tip the drone!

Drone tipping is not cool.

Their pizza drone program would last maybe a week here in the US, would get cancelled due to drunk and/or high asshats damaging or stealing the pizza drone.

This is the way the world ends

Not with a bang but a pizza

Thank Obama. Now minimum wage workers are demanding $15/hour and full coverage health care.
To show you what their labor is worth they are easily replaced with a flying widget.
Raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour will boost the economy. People will be able to live above the poverty line. You know able to get off public assistance programs, saving tax dollars. Demanding health care. Everyone should gave basic health care regardless of job.

Time for some remedial education:

Skyscraper Rooftop Domino's Stores Coming Soon!!!

Actually having the drone going down with the heavy load would save battery juice. Then it can fly back up empty when it is lighter.

I don't know how this turned into a 15$ minimum wage debate, but that that is a horrible idea in some areas, and would seriously put companies out of business if it happened. Not to mention it would send EVERY company into a search for more flying widgets so they can replace more people.

If you believe this I have some swamp land in Arizona to sell you. The only thing that raising the minimum wage to 15 dollars will do is raise the cost of just about everything. Devalue the labor of those making above 15 dollars an hour and causing companies to raise their wages. Within a year or so 15 dollars an hour will not be enough, they will still be below the poverty line and will be wanting 20 an hour.

But... money is just a thing you print out and give to people I thought? Why can't it be given to everyone!?!1111111

Spoken like a true liberal youth with no knowledge of how things really work. Yeah it sounds great doesn't it?

Look up Seattle Washington (I think that's where it was) when they instituted a $15 minimum wage. Many workers at a specific location said they wish the rate had never been changed. with their $15 wage they lost benefits, privileges, had to pay for parking, etc.

Things aren't always as good as they sound.

It all sounds good on paper I know. You get blinded by the what ifs. But the truth is, the companies that are the fabric of this country (Not talking about Walmart or Starbucks) would go out of business. The unemployment rate would sky rocket even more. You have to gradually raise it over time to allow business to recuperate their loses.

And honestly I really don't think someone flipping burgers should make 15 dollars an hour. There is not much skill involved doing that.

Secondly, if the minimum wage were to be raised to 15 dollars an hour. You would be making around the same as you are now. Every product and service would go up in price.

It was Seattle, and so far the sky is not falling like some of you claim it must. Sometimes things aren't as bad as they sound.

If high minimum wages destroys economies, why does California, with the highest minimum wage, have an economy that would be the 6th largest in the world if it were a country, and the 5 states with no minimum wage combined have less than half the economy of California?
