What are you nerds playing this weekend?

I plan to get my ass kicked by 14 year olds who are on summer break and have all day every day to play Overwatch better then my old ass.

I haven't played the third one. I do see a lot of people saying things along these lines, (Lost Planet, progressively worse, etc.) but I also see people saying that it's not nearly as bad as what other say, so I think I'll eventually give it a try. I kind of view the first two as the difference between Alien and Aliens. The first is more suspenseful, more sci-fi-horror, the second being a bit more non-stop action. I like both of them for different reasons, but prefer the original overall. It just gets the type of atmosphere I enjoy in this kind of game right. No opinion on the third yet since I haven't touched it, but just from a visual standpoint, it does remind me of Lost Planet.

Yeah its not bad. I'm still enjoying it just doesn't have the same mood as the first 2.

I finally got an alpha key to try out Lawbreakers this weekend so I'm gunna be playing that!

I sure have high hopes for it.

Finished Forza 6 APEX. Was a very short game on PC.
Punched through a few missions in Black Cops 3.
Played a bit of Forza 6 on XBONER.
A little bit of Fallout 4.
One mission in Borderlands Pre-Sequel.
A bit of Mad Max as well.

Played Doom off an on. I'm only working two days all week (tues and thurs) so lots of time to play. Plus going to two concerts this week Rob Zombie/Korn on Wed and Guns n Roses on Fri.

Installed ABZU last night. Can't wait to actually play it a bit.

If I'm lucky will continue with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. My vampire character found a 100% resistance to fire ring and is powerful enough to lay waste in Oblivion gates.

I've been re-discovering the Ghost in the Shell shooter: First Assault, now that it's reached beta. It's a lot of fun.

considering jumping into Day of Infamy... old school DoD fan.

C&C in DosBox i hate the current mission im on since it only allows me to build men.

im reallys surpriced that im on mission 7 of the gdi story line and havent had 1 single mission that would actually let med build a base myself really. it has way to many special missions

Dock/boat. Fishing pole. Cooler of beer. Little golf. Ok, maybe a some Far Cry 4 on the way up.

My son's home from college till Sunday. Then...Continuing a Mass Effect 3 playthrough. What fun!!!

ABZU is so cool! It's definitely a relaxing, go at your own pace, explore a little, sort of game. Nothing is terribly pressing, and it's just really nice to kick back and relax with. The graphics are incredible too. Highly recommend it if you're looking for something to play between more demanding games.

So punched a few hours in Fallout 4. Hit Level 13 now. The wasteland is a frickin' dangerous place. I really feel threatened in this game and I love it. Survival is quite intense.

Also, played a bunch of Forza 6. Game is absolutely dope. Cruised around in my Ferrari La Ferrari and beat some idiot times.

I had my disc for Gears of War Ultimate Edition in the drive so I played it a bit. The graphics in the game are top notch and gunplay is still tight. However, I couldn't get myself to indulge more than that. I have played Gears of War already about 3 times and I can't do it the fourth.

I also had my eyes on finishing the BF4 SP campaign. However, made maybe 2 checkpoints before I wanted the suffering to end. I can't believe I installed a 50 gig+ game to run through 7 levels of SP and I have an extremely hard time motivating myself to go past level 4. lol.

Did 1 mission in Mad Max and also just roamed about kicking ass. Game is quite well done but is now extremely repetitive. I have very little motivation to finish it. Though story does intrigue me a bit. Need to get to dat Gastown.

Did 1 mission in StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void. Campaign is quite well done but somehow it got backlogged to hell. I may resume since there is a dearth of RTS games out these days. Which reminds me that I never quite finished Company of Heroes 2. Also on the turn based side, XCOM 2 got backlogged. Never quite got into it, even though I loved XCOM.

Fun gaming times. Btw, I also turned on Witcher 3 on PC. Holy smokes, the game on PC looks phenomenal. However, I already played and finished it on the PS4 so will have a hard time going through it again as always. Double dipping never really works for me. After MGS V, I am not going to bother. I am still wondering if I should have bought Deus Ex on PS4 or PC (already have it now on PC). I don't think I will get much time on PC to do anything to be honest once my kids are back. Might have been a bad purchase.

Not enough hours in the day to play games to be honest and I have just so many of them. Playing them all is really an insurmountable task at this point in time.
I have only finished the following games this year, which is quite possibly the lowest I have done in any year, since the age of 8.

Rise of the Tomb Raider
Until Dawn
Assassin's Creed Syndicate
Quantum Break
Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone
Witcher 3 Blood and Wine
Uncharted 4
Doom
Forza Motorsport 6 APEX
Call of Duty Black Ops 3

A little bit more of Fallout 4. Played it on both PS4 and PC. Graphics look phenomenal on PC but too bad I already started the game on PS4 and am level 13 there whereas, only level 4 on PC.

Also did the weekly events in Forza 6 Apex. Still need to unlock more cars.

Played a bunch of Forza 6 on the box. Love this game.

Did about 4-5 missions in Starcraft LotV campaign. Game is fantastic.

A bit of Mad Max as well.

Approaching my 1000th hour of Natural Selection 2... the greatest FPS/RTS of all time. :D

Also some Witcher 2 and Doom for good measure.

The division has been my go too the last few weekends, I think im going to load up metro 2033 redux, I have had it for a while just never had any spare time to sit down and start it, really looking forward to a good SP shooter.

Max Payne 1 & 2, just finished the first. Excellent games to rerun.

Bought dying light enhanced edition with all the dlc this past week. Im an avid fan of dead island game play and dying light just improved upon it. Its always fun being a bully to zombies just kicking the crap out of them or drop kicking them off a bridge. Night time gets pretty intense too.

Been playing Starbound with the kid. Didn't think I'd get so addicted to the game after playing Terraria to death (the games play similarly), but the game is so good.

Still need to beat Witcher 3 and I'm feeling motivated again to do so - however, I still only have the PS4 copy and really want to play it on PC instead. Wish there was a save transfer service so I don't have to repeat everything.

I finally installed Singularity for the first time tonight....

I have to say, I'm VERY impressed.

Solid FPS fun with interesting, albeit corny sci-fi narrative.

Still, anything that involves space/time-ish is A-OK by me :D

And at 4k DSR / 60 fps, it looks damn good.

EDIT: Use "Widescreen Fixer" to up the FOV. I upped it by 10 and set the hotkey to "-" on the Numpad.

Then, set the exe to run at startup minimized and that's about as unobtrusive as I can get it.

*sigh

Tried No Man's Sky. What a pile of shit.

So I'll be playing some Overwatch, Arkham Knight, and need to finish Doom. All while drinking Love Child #7.

LOL

kinda figured that =)

A bigger POS game is Call of Duty Black Ops III on steam can't even find a match for the new DLC which is abouth 4 days old never buy COD DLC ever on Steam.

Grinding in Titan Quest / Grim Dawn.

I recently bought Grim Dawn but decided to replay Titan Quest first just because I love it so much and haven't played it in a few years. Still one of my favorite games, and before it came out I was NEVER into click-n-loot games! I think the eye candy holds up pretty well too for a game that came out in 2008...

I'm in the same boat as you. Often start a game and never finish and huge back log. Every year I finish less and less games. So far in 2016 I beat:

Dead Space 2 (almost finished Dead Space 3 - haven't touched the game in 3 weeks)
Uncharted 4 (beat the game in 4 days! Rarely does this ever happen. Usually take a year or two to finish a game)
Batman Arkham Knight (main story only - still have to do side quests)
GTA V (a lot better than expected! First GTA game I enjoyed)

Started MGSV but haven't touched in a month
Playing Far Cry 4 - Getting super repetitive and starting to feel like a chore. Good game but not really into it for some reason. I hate the menu music!
Been working my way through Gears of War 2 for the last 2 years
FF VIII Lightning Returns last 2 years and many games that are started but never finished. Gonna try to complete the games I started before moving onto something else. Its hard to get back into the game after you leave it for a couple years...
