Wonder Woman Comic-Con Trailer

Did anybody other than me check out the Justice League trailer and finally - FINALLY - note that DC is now taking cues from Marvel and bringing the funny? It has comedy, which is what DC films have seemed to lack so far.

Comics are about stories and the best ones do tend to have some humor in them. I know that Batman's original concept was to be a "dark avenger" of sorts and not very humorful but, you have to give Marvel credit: they make shit funny, with great lines, great sarcasm, brevity, and a lot of emotional content overall but they damned sure bring the funny to their movies.

DC, not so much, but I'll be honest: the Justice League trailer, at least for me, is the funniest thing they've yet produced and gives me just a tiny glimmer of hope that it could actually be fun to watch.

Yea, that's nice. It's weird that it took them so long, considering the cartoon has done it ages ago, and done well too.

Barry's line at the end feels forced as hell though.

Happy 65th birthday to the one and only Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter. :)
WOW, she looks too hot to be a senior citizen! Here's a recent press event photo.

however Marvel mixes funny and serious. None of the movies are none stop comedy. They have found that line between a good action movie with some comedy tossed in.

I watched these trailers and get the feeling like they are trying way to hard to show that they can be funny. Which also makes me think they picked all the funny parts to put into the trailer to show see we can be fun also. Which wasn't the issues with previous movies, shit story and acting where the issues. Personally I think it will be nice to see wonder woman be an actual character instead of the horrible part they wrote her into for bvs. Which isn't the fault of the actress, it is about like they where afraid to do too much with her in that movie. What I want to see from these trailers is a balance between good action and comedy. Which I have not seen yet.

This looks super good. Trailers can be deceiving, but I'm usually a pretty good spotter when it comes to judging a movie by it's trailer.

I would not worry who is in it, most of those people are cg body doubles. Just look are your own arm when you flex, you will start laughing. I know where most of the people were filmed then body doubles are create and an animator attempted to mimic real life, so just watch them for the story if is bad just laugh and go on.

what do you mean? most guys here are built like the rock with 24 inch cocks. When they flex they look like a god.

Still not sold on Chris Pine as an actor. Gadot on the other hand is a good choice. Hope they have a good film.

Check out "Carriers". He's really good in that and it's totally not a superhero / sci fi movie. It is kinda about the apocalypse though. Kinda.

I have to say that Justice League trailer looked 100x better than the Superman vs Batman trailers.

maybe to you god has an extra muscle below the bicep where it would damage the elbow joint instead of move it, but hold your right hand palm out. the left works just as well mirrored. Now hold the other arm forearm forward like you you body checking someone, or holding a shield. Basically fist in front of your face elbow bent at ninety degrees. Now take that flat palm and place it on your bicep. Big or small no matter. slide the hand up your arm until the thumb touches your armpit. Spread those fingers as wide a possible. That is your bicep. it it one muscle or a group of them working together. now flip the hand over and cup the bottom side, then rotate the arm ninety degrees that is the tricep. Now rotate it back to level with your eyes and cup right next to the elbow, that was one of the what muscle is that? the bicep no, the elbow is attached to the elbow joint and those are not muscles but tendons... fat people have rolls down there... but wonder woman has a barrel that is round with no muscles all the way down from shoulder to elbow. So you have cg characters that have fat rolls pretending to be muscles and super strong female characters that the real actress has definition in that part of her arm because I was hanging out with some of the people listed in the film as she flexes. She was silly and drunk but you need muscles to drive a car if the power steering goes or is just really bad to begin with. My Tiburon does that when it is cold, the power steering is not there at all, probably needs to be changed or something but it works fine after it heats up so I never got around to looking into why. Usually this happens when the actors refuse to do a scene and the studio says they won't get paid, or worse the director laughs and says it will be fixed in post as they re-shoot the scene with the body scan data or make up cg body doubles because the actress was never on location to have been scanned. I know the body doubles they built for Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV got leaked by someone and there have been a number of films made with those. They company using them screams no can prove it was not so and so actor or actress so it ends up getting dropped in court as too expensive to carry civil suits against companies that use the assets then don't make any money on them. Then since they got away with they use the body doubles in something that does make money and tell the owner of the image they lost in court last time....

I can't wait for this. Most definitely my most anticipated film in the upcoming DC Slate. Being a DC fan my entire life I've been waiting to see something like this since childhood. Gal Gadot brings Diana to life/live-action perfectly, way better than I could of ever anticipated.

To anyone saying "needs bigger boobs, not my wonder woman" obviously have never picked up a WW comic. Diana has had countless depictions and not all of them are incredibly busty. She's supposed to be endowed with the beauty of a godess and I'd say Gadot fits there quite nicely.

There's also a lot of misinformation in this thread. Snyder is still absolutely in charge on the Justice League set, Affleck was promoted to EP to ensure continuity with his upcoming Batman films and nothing else, he isn't calling any shots and this has come directly from him. People can hate on Snyder as much as they want but his actors/crew always speak nothing but praise when asked about working with him.

DC's positioned to kill it over the course of the next few years and the tonal changes from BvS to Justice League where expected and would of happened regardless of BvS's critical sucess or lack there-of. Terrio penned the script from the ground up unlike BvS where he was working off of/from whatever bullshit Goyer had put together. There's a reason Affleck brought him in and BvS was just a stepping stone, Justice League was always the end-goal.

Again, as a life long DC fan I absolutely loved all the little / subtle world building bits of BvS and from what I've read / can tell we are going to get even more with Suicide Squad next week. I'm so pumped to see the DCEU finally operating at full-steam.
