Please tell me this is fake. If this is real, this is quite possibly the saddest thing I have ever seen. Who talks like this? Seriously, read the message below and tell me what you think.

Oh god....I actually cracked up at 'hella noms' because WTF...who says that?

Reminds of the one time I called up Microsoft support for Xbox and the bot voice used the same kind of condescending language meant for 12 year olds.

I see bullschizzle. No one speaks like that. If they were working for MS, they aint now.

To me, getting "lit" ain't "noms" or beers or pong.........ya follow?

How do I say this...This is too retarded to be fake, I'm afraid.

What the hell is/are hella noms? I'm not up on hipster lingo.

Nom are food right. like nom nom nom??? Truthfully I have no clue but that's my best guess.

Had to look it up on Urban Dictionary: Urban Dictionary: Nom I believe you are right.

No I was wrong the other definition is much more interesting...

An expression of eating, or a sound thereof. Also could mean a sexually suggestive action upon either a male or female, one would use the lips and not so much the teeth, avoicing a chomp chomp like action.

Nah, that's ain't real. That dope shiz didn't come from no Microsoft, no what I sayin?

Dey could take dem bae interns to der crib fo some shizzle fo rizzle up in Redmond. Plenty of noms and dey can git lit up there.

I really don't think it's real. If it is, Microsoft failed miserably. They are typically pretty professional. They can have a lot of fun, but they have their limits. I think this guy is either out of a job, isn't with Microsoft or is a third party recruiter...

Shit, it's real: Microsoft sent an embarrassing e-mail inviting interns to 'get lit' and play beer pong on a Monday night

"The email was poorly worded and not in keeping with our values as a company. We are looking into how this occurred and will take appropriate steps to address it," a Microsoft spokesperson tells Business Insider.

I can't imagine Apple doing anything differently. LMAO. It's just tech companies trying to be hip and appeal to "youngsters" of today. Lame indeed. XD

It would be funny if this sort of stupidity wasn't happening at every level of the company.

I thought nom was the inspiration to the great music from 60's & 70's. And a few Stallone movies.

I can't say I get all the slang, but recruiters getting potential recruits drunk is not a new thing. I recall a friend getting drunk at an Arthur Anderson recruiting thing and when they were courting him, they took him out on a boat and got him drunk again. I'm pretty sure they had food too, but I didn't retain that info.

Sounds like something Homer Simpson would have made when eating, though I always thought it was num num num

I believe it's real. Why? Because

Microsoft is that guy at the party who tries oh so hard to be cool yet fails hilariously..

Actually kind of a neat idea, but it really only works if you commit to it and the timing - which just looking at those MS Store employees, the one's who obviously don't give a shit make the whole thing look like a train wreck.

I had to stop it 10 seconds after starting it. I felt like I was watching an Apple iFanBoy thing. I guess MS is also bad.

WTF... NOM? Food or not, what a stupid thing.

Really? You think that's neat? Hmmm. I don't know how that would appeal to anyone. That fat customer has got it right when he just rolled his eyes and walked away. lol.

It wouldn't impress you or me, but flash mob stuff always draws a crowd, and some of the people who shop there might think its neat. Just because some of us IT people have sticks up our asses when it comes to silliness doesn't mean everyone in the world is like that.

Yes it means food..... After reading some of the comments here and people being confused I am not sure if it is a good or bad thing that as a person in my mid 30s that I still interact with enough people of younger generations to understand the terms.

The second random jumble of letters was "Bae". You can quit reading right there and know whoever wrote this is an idiot and nothing else is worth attempting to read.

Think that is a type-o for Bay. You are looking at a letter that was supposedly sent to people in San Francisco after all. "Hey babe interns" doesn't make as much sense as "Hey Bay Interns"

How old are you folks? I'm 38 and understood every bit of that. That said, no one actually talks like that. lol

There is another person!!!!! :) 36 here. Maybe it is the 40 mark that cuts off those who can and can't understand that. That said, true nobody actually talks like that.
