After doing some digging I have found that Crucial and Adata are good about providing a 7 to 9.5 millimeter spacer or adapter with most if not all of their current SSD models. Are there others I should be aware of?

Intel and Kingston, only had need to use spacer once.

Edit #1:
Going to add PNY, I recall a PNY 1100 (240GB) comes with one.

Good catch. The Kingston SSDNow UV400 is available in a Desktop/Notebook Upgrade Kit which includes the part.
Intel and Kingston
(I suspect Intel and Kingston may be less appropriate for people on a strict budget. In the case of Kingston, that Kit includes several other parts which raise the price. I don't think Intel offers drives available new under 40 USD but I could be wrong.)

I ordered a cheap Transcend 128GB SSD a few months ago and was surprised that it came with a 3.5" adapter. Also ordered a ADATA SP550 that came with a spacer, but not a drive adapter.

Newegg is advertising the Adata Premier SP550 2.5" 120GB SATA III TLC today for 34.99... with the part in question.

Oh, so that's what that thing is. I just bought a PNY CS1311 SSD and it came with a spacer.

Bought an Emtec International Power Plus X150 240GB from Micro Center earlier this week; came with just drive and spacer. It was $43.75 or $47.64 after tax.

Not sure if the Intel 540 series come with a spacer these days. Intel surely slimmed down the packaging.

Newegg is selling the SanDisk SSD PLUS 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive on eBay for 35.99. Maybe the one dollar more for SanDisk is worthwhile compared to Adata?
