I bought an LG 34UM95 off a user on here, and he said it was in great shape. Well, when I received it, it was dirty, and was missing the stand screws (which he admitted later he left them on the table and forgot to include them). I ordered replacements from LG.
Now the big issue. The monitor has done this at least 5 times since I got it a few days ago. It makes a loud pop and then the screen has a bar/line going across it when that happens and returns back to normal very quickly. I googled this issue and it seems to be a common issue with this model when the board is acting up. Not sure if there is a trick about stopping it other than I see some people say turn off DisplayPort 1.2 in the settings on the monitor and that may fix it. Don't I want that on?
What should I do? I have never had a bad transaction from someone on this site, and now this happened. I spent $400 bucks on this and I doubt he has the money to refund it since he was saving up for a car which he bought.
