Post Your Workstations 2016

I actually like what you did here. Simple but useful. :D

New rig up and running. Need to make a change to the water loop once new fittings come in. Other than that it's running great.

What Monitor Arm are you using? Great setup BTW

Don't think I posted this here before - damn Facebook tricked me into posting it there. Nice job Zuckerberg! :p

Quad monitor setup without any two of the same monitor and only two are the same resolution. :p My OCD friend says this would drive him insane. I like it and do actually use two monitors all the time, always have the bottom 3 on and use the left most doing business stuff. Rarely engage the 4th (Vizio TV) other than to watch DirectTV on it or show someone something on it using it as a monitor. Discovered KODI recently - been using it more since then.

All are attached to the GTX970 OC on #1 in my sig. Love the setup for everything - gaming and business stuff which you see in the pic.

Yes, I am a real estate agent with Keller Williams in Coppell, TX. Anyone wanna buy or sell a house, hit me up! ;)

From bottom left:
27in LG27EA63 @ 1920x1080
24in Dell 2405FPW @ 1920x1200 - old, backlight not what it used to be but still kicking
27in Asus PB278 @ 2560x1440
37in Vizio TV @ 1920x1080

@LanceDiamond, I have those same speakers. I, however, misplaced those little plastic monitor mounts they came with, so they sit on my desktop getting knocked over every time I look at them crosswise. Sound good though :)

First post from a real long time reader with kudos to 'OCP for helping me choose this monitor. My all business setup since May 2015 with Philips 40" 4K monitor fed by Dell 7350 4K via Usb3 DisplayLink hub. This setup was primarily built for simultaneous multiple virtual machine access; development, sysadmin, dba, ci and occasional gaming when time allows. The pink puff is for screen dusting.

Because you can never have too many monitors:

Sadly, this is an actual workstation. Only excel, stata and spss work gets done on it.

Recently got my workstation all completed.

I call it my "Sanctuary".

And the PC that makers it all possible! (specs in sig)

Man that is a lot of monitors. Sweet setup man. Wish the pics were a higher quality and better lighting.

OMG!!! This rig is amazing with the purple lighting. Just makes this setup stand out not to mention the slick custom water cooling.

Me too! I only have an Iphone 4S and a Gopro Hero Session for photos. One day I'll get proper camera!

Real clean setup. clamped with the laptop on it but I am sure it is not on there all the time as I do not have mine there all the time as well.

Thanks! Yeah the laptop is generally with the wife, haha.

frankmansal Very clean setup. One question for you, because while that is a beautiful photo, the glow on the edge of your monitor is insane, is that how your system is always set up? And, if so, do you ever kill the lights when using the system?

That's glow from the lights in the case, not the monitor itself.

Of course it is, that's what I'm referring to. I have a hard enough time with bright overhead lights, having one directly in my line of sight would drive me nuts.

Yeah I do turn the lights off. I'm trying to find a larger desk to move the case further away from the monitor. Also the picture makes it look way worse then it really is.

Nice setup but in desperate need of some cable management. It would take this to a whole new level.

Had to empty my office to paint the walls. Figured I'd have a go at cable management.

And the underside, showing what I did.

Still a bit of a mess behind that leg in the corner, but I think it turned out well.

I guess I'll start it off with the setup I'm currently using to break in the new year!

On the hardware side of things I would like to pick up a single 980ti to replace my 2gb 680 cards in SLI but they are still around $750-850 used in Canada!

Other than building myself a desk out of some solid core maple veneer doors I don't have any real plans for the room this year.

The legs and drawers in the render are just placeholders as I was mostly using the program to check dimensions and placement of the desks in the room.

If that gets built I'll definitely post more pics!

I am also leaning towards building myself a large ported 15-18" subwoofer with external amplification too so that might come first. :p
I recognize the high tech storage system under the table, looks just like mine. clear plastic and white bins.

like the wrap around desk and could snuggle down to some serious gaming in that chair.
