Best 32" TV for PC Monitor?

I have a Dentist's office that wants to put some TV monitors up so that they can show Patients "stuff" like Videos and Xrays and what not while they are in the chair.

The "TV" needs to have a Vesa mount and be 32". It will run off of a PC.

Would like to get the best "TV" that would do PC screen text at least a little bit decent
 
that vizio is one of the cheaper 1080p 32 in around. That Samsung a little more expensive. You can also get this Samsung for just slightly more expensive than the Vizio:

Or you could also get a 30 inch 2560 x1600 monitor for $350 on ebay if you really want a sharp true 30 in monitor ;)

On the other hand, with the TV you can have the patient entertained with the smart tv features and then switch over to the HDMI connected to the PC to display xray

I need to clear something up here I think. I wasn't looking for the cheapest 32" 1080P TV.

I'm looking for one that would work "well" as a PC monitor.

Usually you see these issues with how well the Text renders in an email or a web page.

Some TV's do this better than others.

The Dental Hygenist and Dr will still use the TV to work in their practice management software and other Windows appz.

The Samsung I mentioned was offered up by the Dr for some reason. He may just like Samsung TV's as I do.

But when I was looking for a 32" TV to use on a PC a few years back, a lot of people were using an LG because of the 4:2:2 deal and how it rendered text.

That's what I'm looking for a TV that works well as a PC monitor, at least as well as can be expected.
 
look on rtings.com. I think all 3 of these TV has 4:4:4 chroma at 60hz 1080p. Which would give sharp txt.

No point spending more if you can get one that works "well" for cheaper :)

Btw, if you are not going to use the TV for additional purpose of what a TV is for and esp if you will use it almost exclusively as a monitor, I would recommend getting the 30 in 1600p monitor. The 2in smaller size is trivial but you get a lot sharper txt and detail for your xray.

I looked at 30" Monitors first, but they were considerably more than the TVs. I would prefer the monitor personally.

The TV will be using a Windows desktop to watch information videos and view Xrays, Images, etc.

If you only going to spend around $250 then pretty much can only get either that vizio or the Samsung I suggested. But if you ever consider spending $330-350, you can definitely get a new 30in 1600p from Korea with expedite free shipping, such as this:

I've ordered Korean lcd before and they are real decent...

From what you say about it being connected to PC nearly exclusive, I am thinking you and the Dr will be happier with a sharper 30 in for not that much more..

I saw that perfect pixel at Newegg but had not heard about them. Don't like the fact that they are DVI only and cannot work with an adapter apparently.

Pretty much all graphic cards has DVI output so you won't need any adapter. Since you are only going to use it with PC, the lack of HDMI won't matter.

Considerably upping your price range but I think definitely worth it!!. I think it's one of the best 32 in 4K monitor out there. the xray will look awesome. Make sure you use font scaling unless the patient is like an arm length from the screen though.
 
If you get the benq 32in, check to make sure yr vid card has DP 1.2 and support 4K 60hz res also.
