Hello all, I will have to update as I go along troubleshooting I just want to get a good idea of what may be going on. I've been house sitting for my aunt who got a new Samsung UHD TV. It displays 3820x2160 @ 60 hz over HDMI. So far (about a week) it has been glorious. Playing GTA V, Lego, Dying light.. It's making me want a UHD TV too.. until.. last night I flipped on the computer, watched some netflix.. then went to open Dying Light. When the game opened into full screen in 3820x2160, the left half of the TV was rendering blue dots all over, and flickering oddly, sometimes a greenish flicker. So first thing I did was bump down the res to 2560x1440 which is what I have always played on. Now it isn't only dying light, I tried 2 other games that were set at 2160p and they did the same. However, 1440p appears fine but I have not fired up the game past the start menu just yet. Any thoughts on what may be going on or a direction to go? Temps look fine and no crashing or anything. I'll have to report back with my current driver. I believe it was the driver right after battlefront came out.
