I'm doing some research for both my future build and my employer's upcoming radiator product. Looking to build a list of most popular radiators according to what people actually buy. Why did you buy what you did? Any information is greatly appreciated.

I like the alphacool radiators, good build quality, comes in a variety of depths to fit your space / design constraints. Sucks because I hate alphacool as a company.

Alphacool and HWLabs would be my two go to companies. Been happy with all the HWLabs radiators I have.

I have alphacool rads and I like them. I'll bite what's the beef? I know why people dislike EK.

My HW labs have been great.. I did a flush on them and now I see why everyone advising flushing your rads before use.. But overall they are great.

They are very closely tied to Aquatuning (Same founder). Aquatuning illegally registered dozens of trademarks in Germany a number of years ago for many watercooling brands including Koolance, Noctua, DangerDen, Bitspower, and Swiftech. Alphacool actually used to have the BlackIce trademark registered (which as you know is HWLabs trademark for their radiators) but they finally released that trademark.

That's a pretty old thread--are they still doing the same old stuff? I suppose you could just buy used if you want alphacool, at least then they won't directly get any money from you.

I still recommended their product, it is a good radiator. I just don't like the way they have conducted business in the past. It is sort of like people still not recommending EK gear because they had a problem with bad nickel plating 5 years ago that was handled poorly. It really doesn't effect the business now, but the way it was handled put a sour taste in peoples mouths.

HWLabs I'd agree are some of the best. I've personally got some Coolgate G1's. Excellent performance, fit my case perfectly. Absurdly clean though, I didn't see a single particulate while washing them when I got them in.
