I could definitely see a Shadow of the Colossus vibe in it, looks pretty good but I'd want to see more before having an opinion on it
 
does have sotc type monster in it, but the beaty of ueada's games are that the graphical look had a distorted fantasy vibe to it ratcher than photoreal vibe. ico,sotc and the last guardian follow none of the games had much action but pleanty of exploration awesome enviroments in. theres hardly any games that come remotly even close and there wont be any ever

Hence, that's why I said what I said. I will concede that you're totally right about Ueda Fumito's visual style being quite different, almost dreamlike whereas this is a more realistic style.
