You don't have to be a T-Mobile customer to like this guy. Heck, I'm with AT&T and, if it wasn't for Legere's lead, I wouldn't have roll-over data or some of the other features I now enjoy.

“It absolutely amazes me that Randall would tell a lifelong customer to basically go away and talk to my lawyers,” said Legere in a statement. “I interact with customers on a daily basis so I can hear their ideas firsthand. It’s called living in the 21st century.”

I mean, they did explain why in the response, and in today's sue-happy society I can't say I am terribly surprised...

“In the past, we’ve had customers send us unsolicited ideas and then later threaten to take legal action, claiming we stole their ideas,” explained a company rep. “That’s why our responses have been a bit formal and legalistic. It’s so we can protect ourselves.”

I am really interested to see how CEO Randall Stephenson will be viciously tear to pieces at the AT&T shareholders' meeting from the fallout of this little episode.

ATurd&Turd business ethics is worse than used car lots. I'm not a Tmo customer yet I see them doing the right things along with being part of Google Fi alliance.

Good luck with that one... Ralph D, John Stanky & Randall Stephenson will be staying put for as long as they want... the board has no claws and could care less. The failed Tmobile employee and customer dissatisfaction should have given Randall and Ralph the boot a long time ago but they are still there still making mega bucks and driving SBC .. Errr AT&T to slow an painful death.

Oh on a side note Randal is stuck in the 1920s , if you are not his counter part from another company or his side kick < John S or Ralph > good luck getting anywhere near him or getting him to speak with you. Pretty much the stereo typical CEO who walks on water.
He came to one of the AT&T buildings in SF , 795 Folsom St. ,for a meeting and when the AT&T Employees found our he was there he left and would not talk to anyone... not even one of the Lower Executives that covers The AT&T Wels Fargo & BOFA accounts. You cross him you're gone, he relocated a complete call center and out sourced it when a couple employees in the call center called him out about his double standards and double talk...
