Hehe, well, AMD does get better frames-per-second numbers that way! ;)

Just stress testing the system and specifically the PSU to go in the mITX case. :) That TITAN is good for that, for sure. Could not get full system load over 420w at the wall. That Corsair should do fine.

Why isn't Kyle disturbed that he wasn't witness to NVIDIA's phantom card expose'? It was reported here with excitement. It wasn't even a paper launch. NOT EVEN PAPER. There is no information about this card, but it was promoted as news: NVIDIA supposedly showed off a card in an NDA event that HCP were not invited to and have no information about that is SIMPLY AMAZING.

I haven't seen anything from any of the actual review websites. It's possible they were there. I hope Kyle got a pic with the Pope while he was in NYC, that would be pretty awesome.

Yeah, if Kyle can't get a picture with a thing that doesn't exist, he should at least be allowed to get a picture with a man that represents a thing that doesn't exist.

It would be super awesome if at first glance it appeared to be Kyle and The Pope, but if you zoom in it's clearly Kyle and NVIDIA's 'new' card under a pope hat.

They specifically stated they weren't there, plus NVIDIA would be bleeding themselves. Investigate any other site, and no one can confirm this even existed. What CAN be confirmed is that HCP stated they were not there, and simply reported on other unsubstantiated reports.

Edit: Paper Launch on magnitudes. So HardOCP reported that this card is supposedly amazing, even though they were not themselves privy to the demonstration that may or may not exist. HCP has no information regarding the card, EVEN ON PAPER, and no clue whether this demonstration actually took place. It's unreasonable that this card exists as NVIDIA would be eating it's own sales. It's the dumbest vapor article ever.

Kyle is SUPER mad he didn't get some free gear, therefore he has thrown any journalistic integrity to the wind. He will champion a thing that doesn't exist from the competitor. What will Kyle say 3 months from now? Is he going to tear NVIDIA a new one?

Edit2: Can I just point out that the big 2 in this category would reflect this cards production? Cards don't materialize...

There is no manufacturer making anything as ground-breaking as this suggests.

This is vapor. There is no PAPER. There is no hardware. There isn't even a spec sheet...but HCP had no problem giving it an optimistic 10 plus header on the front page.

I think you are confused.

There are two kind of post on the front page. One would be articles written by [H] themself. The rest are news links to articles written by other websites. These links are shared here merely for the readers to read those article. It's based on what the admin thinks the readers might be interested in.

It does NOT mean [H] endorse or vouch for these articles. [H] admins are not saying they can confirm that rumor about a new nVidia card when they linked that article in the front page. It's just there for the readers to read, that's all. No one is telling you to believe that rumor. If you have issues with that rumor, you should take it up with the author of the article linked.

N = NON
D = DISCLOSURE
A = AGREEMENT

They AGREED to NOT make any DISCLOSURE about anything they saw and/or discussed.

This is common in not only the technical industry but across many industries (like the musical instrument industry, for instance when Line 6 released one of the versions of the POD amplifier modeling device).

If anybody says a word then ramifications can range anywhere from a stern "FUCK YOU!" when the next such reveal happens to a law suit.
 
It looks like some of the tin foil hat brigade jumped ship from the gubberment force over to the Nvidia force. "Oh noes, there's an article on Nvidia with positive forward looking views, tons of bias!" The situations are not even partially related, back to your faraday cage!
