Hi guys, F.R.A.M.E is my new scratch build..its a complete wall mounted pc.

i got the initial idea from SHow4pro over at overclock.net and decided i wanted to try that out too!

i have almost finished the build, and there isnt really much to show of the process, i can however show you the designs and where i am with it at the moment!

p.s I also made the Project Entropy build, inspired by L3p D3sk!

the pc components you see there are my OLD dead components.. i keep them for measurements such as this and to give me a rough idea on cutting dimensions.

you can see my current specs in my sig!

and thanks!! got some more done on it, but ive been running into problems that i failed to predict! like for example the damn pcie riser cable wasnt long enough for the second gpu, i thought i had done the measurements correctly, but clearly not :mad: !!

but i managed to solve that problem! more pics to come in a few minutes! :) :D
 
Got some acrylic sheet and drew out the mounting plates!

so! a good 6 hours later!!! i have completed all of the tube bends.......next up... mounting the radiator and connecting the tubes on them too!

I am confused. Is this a functional PC or is it a display of dead hardware? If its functional, how will you get the video cards to work in this layout?

Wow. I take it you not only did not read his posts, you only looked at the first picture which was the only one showing old hardware.

He's using some older hardware as placement and measurement. Pretty common to do, and I thought it would be obvious since those were early pics before all the cuts were made and he showed the newer hardware in later pics.

As far as the video cards, you might want to look at the pics again, he also has a pair of PCIe ribbon cables in post #4.

First of, thanks for the support guys! much MUCH appreciated! :) sub and share if you can! :D

also, to the people who are slightly confused about the graphics cards....well they will be connected using an extremely high quality 3M PCI-E riser ribbon cable. i have two of them, and they are both EMI shielded to a specific frequency range to stop cross-talk between other electronic devices.

they are not connected at this time as you can see from the pics.... but if you scroll up you will see the two long silver cables... those are the connectors.

hope this clears any confusion ;)

Ive never sold any of my builds before... and i havent done many either, this is my second scratch build ever, and it is my first time ever using acrylic tubing.

but i COULD make and sell..it is possible, i have access to a CNC Router thanks to my friend who works at a sign center. so itl be easy enough for me to get the holes and stuff cut.

as for price and shipping, i dont know... i would need to work that one out.

sooooooooooooooooooooo, here is the update... got all the pipes connected and now i am doing some leak tests... the last long pipe going into the res was a rushed job and i will fix that in the near future...i dont have anymore tube left to fix it and i am DYING to go back on my pc to play some games! :mad:

Leak test tonight and mounting the beast up tomorrow with green coolant! :D

That looks pretty cool. I would have gone with more straight lines instead of diagonal with the tubing (but it would require more 90 degree turns, and probably less flow)

probably not clear in the picture, but all tubes are straight with 90 degree bends to the collars. the only one that isnt is the big long one heading into the radiator, only because i ran out of tube and i had to make it long as possible.

also the small tube at the res, is just flexi tube, again, i miss calculated the amount of rigid tube i would need..

yeah if you don't mind could you share the cost of just the water cooling components? Tubing, pump, radiator, reservoir, blocks and all connectors.

Its great to see stuff and think, man maybe I could do that, but without the $$$$ behind it it is hard to judge the reality of it.

Great looking build, though I have never wanted to hang a PC on the wall I do think it looks cool.

The total cost of, Tubing, connectors, radiator, fan, pump dampers, and motherboard block. cost me £450 (pounds) the wood used for the project was about £50. Thats the money i spent building this project. and excluding all other blocks on there as ive owned them before this project.
 
yep, its not cheap, but its 6kg of copper and aluminium. so its expected
 
I may have just missed this in the thread, but what is holding those GPUs in place? did you just build a custom bracket?

yeah, i improvised with that, got my mate to cnc cut some acrylic sheets to the size of the gpu, and then i aligned them with the back-plate mounting points, and then just used some m3 screws! :)
 
Nice job . . . I was inspired by Roil over at OCN for mine. From 2014. I like how you give credit to who inspired you. Very Classy!!!
