So...Who is going to be at VMworld this year

I will be riding my desk again this year. Still looking for a new job with more of the engineering side of things rather than project management. Thankful I have a job though.

I won't be going... but those bands are legit. Neon trees may be a bit too different for most of the folks going to vmworld though. They're good live, they used to play at a club 2 blocks from my pad when I lived in Provo UT

Yeah, the bands had a lot of views on youtube, but wasn't exactly my kind of music. I wish I had been there the year of Imagine Dragons.

I'll be there and a coworker of mine. We'll stop by the Tintri booth, we can make fun of the afore mentioned co-worker for failing to properly configure jumbo frames on every switch. Make sure you dig it in really good :)

I really wouldn't mind grabbing a beer and a stogie with some of you guys. Hopefully I will be able to attend these in the future. Have two places I am working on landing a job at handling some Cisco UCS goodness. One even has VDI too so that would just be that much cooler for me to land into.

I'm sure I'll be at the Cigar Bar and Grill and/or Occidental a few times next week.

Lol. Sounds good to me. At least it is coming time for some pumpkin beer! Sam Adams few.

Wish I could go. But all my vacation time is normally taken up by the two gaming cons I attend each year. So I really don't have the opportunity to do any sort of lengthy traveling.

I have to leave my house in about 3 hours for my flight and I am still not ready. At least I should be tired enough to sleep through the entire flight.

Depends what your interests are. I think there are over 200 sessions. Last year I focused on NSX. This year I am looking at a lot of vSphere 6 stuff and hanging out with Tintri. :D

So far this year has sucked, absolutely nothing to be excited about and the sessions have provided very little under NDA to provide value to the trip. This year may kill any hope of us returning. Maybe there will be some wow factor today at the general session.

I have no hope of that, but we'll see. I have a lot more sessions, so there's still some prayer of it turning around.

I've noticed that people seem to be very bored with what VMware has had to say this year - I've been tied up in our roadmap (it's awesome, come see us) so I haven't paid attention - nothing all that new?

edit: just went digging. Nothing new. Come see us, we have new!

Did you book NDA sessions or just going to the regular ones?
