30% OFF AMD FX-4350 Vishera Quad-Core 4.2GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor - $69

The FX4350 will do a bit better in certain multi-core tasks, has decent overclocking head room too.

The G3258 will destroy the FX4350 in single threaded tasks, consumes way less energy and has both EM64T + SSE4 enabled.

I know they're sold out, but how would this compare to the G3258?

Some newer games won't run on a dual core. They will detect it and refuse to run. You have to manually edit files to get it to work. I would get either an AMD quad or Intel quad if making a cheap system.
