Amazon's 20th Birthday Brings "More Deals Than Black Friday"

Attention Amazon Prime members, the company has just announced Prime Day. The July 15th event will have "more deals than Black Friday" so you'd have your credit cards out and be ready to shop. :)

More than 90 years ago, holiday shopping found its official start the Friday after Thanksgiving, eventually becoming Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year. Over the years, Amazon has helped make Black Friday even more of a global online shopping phenomenon. Next week, Amazon turns 20 and on the eve of its birthday, the company introduces Prime Day, a global shopping event, offering more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members in the U.S., U.K., Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada and Austria. On Wednesday, July 15, new and existing members in the U.S. will find deals starting at midnight, with new deals starting as often as every ten minutes. They can shop thousands of Lightning Deals, seven popular Deals of the Day and receive unlimited fast, free shipping.

Having more deals is irrelevant, will they have useful and good deals that's the question.

They will have the lowest prices on the items that sell the least in far greater numbers than black friday

I'll wait to see if its anything I actually WANT showing up on sale, and if the sales are just lower than regular Amazon price or lower than market value. Cuz every time Amazon has sales on groceries, I check my reciepts and it just ends up being the same (or a little more) than just the local Walmart.
 
Hopefully this will be on sale for a steal.

I hope for some decent deals on some good items. Most of it will be BS, but they always have a couple things that you really want.

Yay more socks, bathing suits, and ridiculous Tom Wares shirts. Not impressed with any of Amazon's "deals" lately. I'll still keep an eye out for tools and practical things though.

I just noticed this on their website, and was skeptical like others here. But I suppose we shouldn't judge until after the fact.

Pffft, a man with the gall and audacity to rock a wolf shirt is going to be drowning in tang and would have no use for that.

I'm thinking you'd buy say 20-30 of these for your closest best of friends you met at the pride parade, and you chase each other down topping off the little pink reservoir backpacks you can squirt at each other with the pump action guns. And if you need shirts, cmon, go with a blue supergirl crop top or go home.

But... black friday this year sucked on amazon. Hardly any decent lightning sales that were worth it.

The vast majority of people on the planet should never be seen in public with a crop top. On the other hand, a three wolf moon t-shirt is like totally the thing to wear for all your Wally World shopping. It's well documented that you shouldn't wear it to a flea market though and that it's possibly trumped by a three bear moon t-shirt. I dunno though, I'm not awesome enough to own either of them.
