With the advent of blizzard bringing back flying with 6.2.. and the steam summer sale I'm in the market for a new video card.. Prefer Nvidia if I can due to my linux work as well.

I'm currently Using a "eVGA GTX 560 ti 448 cores classified ultra" pretty heavily oc'ed that's benching between a 570 and a 580 in performance.. Was looking to at least max out WoW on ultra settings at 1920x1080 rez on one monitor.. Price range is hopefully around $350-$400.. though if I can find what I'm looking for for cheaper then by all means!

Cpu is Intel 3570k @ 4.4ghz and psu is a generic 600W.. will upgrade the psu if I have to but it must be factored into the price range.. also gpu needs to be the same size or smaller as my evga card due to case size restraints

GTX970 if you want to buy new and you want nVidia. If you don't mind resale, GTX 980's are selling under $400.

Personally I would upgrade the PSU if there's any question about it's quality/reliability but that;s up to you.

shame about flying coming back...

but if you hurry you might catach the evga B-stock sale. I think the 970 should do well. 600W should be okay as long as its a decent unit.

or if you really have a small case you could get this small 970 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121912

Do not keep using a generic 600 watt power supply unless you like to flip a coin every time you power on you pc.....will it catch fire this time?:D
Seriously....Don't buy anything without purchasing a new quality power supply first.....truth is nothing is worth buying and risking your entire pc burning up...So far, you just been lucky to be honest

Drop just one 290 in that rig without getting a new supply will surely end up with smoke
