Bestbuy / Amazon have the Moto 360 on sale for $179.99. If you are a student, you can get the Moto 360 for $154.99. If you use the $100 off Moto 360 coupon BestBuy also has if you buy *any* Android phone (such as $40 Zinger), then return the phone/trade it in to Verizon/sell it, you can get the Moto 360 for ~$80, or ~$50 if you are a student.

BestBuy
Amazon

BestBuy student coupon ($25 off)

**EDIT**

According to slickdeals (read comment thread), BestBuy currently also has $100 off a Moto 360 when you buy *any* Android phone.

Obvious choices are $40 pre-paid android phones. Also interesting is that you can return the phones after you get the discounted Moto 360 without losing the savings supposidly. This results in a Moto 360 for approximately $80, or ~$50 if you have the student discount.

Possibly the hottest deal I've seen in a long time. Go forth and get this as soon as you can because undoubtedly stupid people will start asking managers if the deal is legit without just shutting up and trying it at the register, ruining the deal for all.

That's not a bad deal. $70 off from MSRP + another $25 if you can get it.

Walked out the door with a Moto 360 Steel Band and an LG Tribute for $147 (with CA taxes included). Feel like a bandit.

Got mine today too, not bad for $50 if I do say so myself (after $100 Verizon credit of course).

It's a $100 GC for Verizon which can be used in their stores/on your next bill.

Okay, so is that different or the same as the $100 taken off as promo as described by slickdeals in step 4?
"Go to the prepaid phone section and get the cheapest phone available from any of the 4 major carriers (verizon, t-mobile, at&t, or sprint)
3. Go and get a motorola 360 of your liking
4. Walk right to the cashier, have her/him ring up your items, $100 promo will automatically apply (you will see their eyes light up)"

I believe the deal no longer works, but this is what I did when I went in:

- Asked for a Moto 360

- Picked out a $39.99 prepaid phone with android on it.

- Went to the checkout, had both rung up. The promotional deal was receive $100 off a Moto 360 when purchasing an android smart phone on the same receipt, so there and then you get $100 off the watch automatically when both items are rung up.

- Gave them my coupon for $25 off Moto 360.

So all together you get $125 off the price of the Moto 360, but still pay $40 for the prepaid phone.

At the same time, Verizon was offering a promotional $100 gift card for recycling any smart phone through them, so people were sending in their prepaid phones they acquired from the deal to receive the $100 gift card as well.

But like I said, I believe both deals are dead now. And yes, there were two $100 promos you could acquire, $100 off the Moto 360 for purchasing an android phone along with it, and $100 gift card from Verizon for recycling the phone through them.

so the $100 off deals are dead or the whole returning/recycling the phone deals are dead?

I know for a fact that Verizon's recycling deal is over.

Not sure about the $100 off with purchase of an android smartphone though, should still be working as the promo is still on their website: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/computi...er/pcmcat372700050004.c?id=pcmcat372700050004

People on slickdeals are saying the Moto 360 is now ringing up at normal price ($249 instead of $179) in Bestbuy even though their website still shows sale prices.

Reading the slick deals thread it looks the deal has completely vanished, its even ringing up for retail price and store wont allow the price match to online + student discount so you cant even get it as low as $150 now

So the $100 off is carrier credit, not actual reduction in price?

As previously clarified by other posters, by buying an Android phone with the 360, you'd get $100 instantly off the Moto 360 price, then you'd be able to either a) return the cell phone (for some reason their registers were allowing this), or b) sell it to Verizon during a trade in promo for a $100 giftcard which you can use to pay off your bill, buy accessories, whatever.

Looks like the deal is dead. Price on best buy is back up to normal prices and I tried 3 different best buy in my area and all of them said best buy is wise to the loop hole and has squashed it.
