Comments like this show a lot of ignorance. WoW is not the same game it was 10 years ago. Every time there is an expansion there is also usually major changes to the game engine. There have been 5 expansions so far and thus a lot of changes. WoW was originally a game that you could play on a DirectX 7 card, but now has the ability to make great use of DirectX 11 including a number of optional features. Making some ignorant quip about people still playing WoW is as obnoxious as butting into a conversation about Battlefield 4 and asking "people still play Battlefield 2?"

Battlefield 4 being one of, if not the first popular mainstream game to support a next-gen low-level API (Mantle) is kind of a big deal, but I'm sure you thought your post was witty.
 
This is pretty tragic and the people who say adults should know better really offer nothing to the conversation. That said, the last line of the article really shows who pays the website's bills.

"Of course playing World of Warcraft is not dangerous as long as people listen to developers and take 15 minutes break after each hour of playing."

Why are people listening to developers for health advice when doctors are really the ones that should be cited as providing good advice? And doctors say, whether you move around every 15 or not, prolonged exposure to a videogame is detrimental to your health.

But hey, why cite an expert when you can cite a marketing campaign?

I wasn't being ignorant, I played WoW through a few of those expansions ... and while it looked better the game play just got worse and worse, just in my opinion others seemed to have liked it.

I was being a douche bag, poking people playing WoW :D

course i shouldn't talk.. i'm playing SW:TOR which seems to be following WoWs footsteps (only with more bugs and less class balance)

just having a bit of fun, don't take it personal.

This. I've played for 36 hours straight before. Got a couple server-first achievements. But even doing that, I had to get up to go to the bathroom, make food, refill my water bottle, etc. You know, little 60-second breaks every hour or two. I'm still alive, still healthy, etc. 19 hours? Something must have been up with the guy to begin with.

Hahaha me too. I actually play a lot better at Insurgency when I have a 6 pack next to me and have a couple down. It's the only online FPS I play and sometimes in doing 2 hour sessions. I'm up at least 3 times to pee if I'm drinking :)
 
How do you even pee into a 2 liter bottle? The hole is too small, and if you cut it bigger, there'd be some wicked sharp edges. Do you use a funnel? Maybe you are all joking and this isn't actually a thing.

Really? Can your mind seriously not grasp this concept? You don't need to stick your entire dong into the bottle you fool, you just make aure the hole is pointed into the other hole and that's it. Press it up against if necessary. Are you even a man or are you just an idiot?

Agreed, something was wong with this guy, especially since the others were more like 36 or 50 hour sessions. I've seen some pics of the café's and man are they dingy. Dude probably thought someone would jack his spot so he just never got up, maybe his pee filled his entire body up until it ruptured his kidneys and thats why he threw up blood. We frequently run from Friday at 7pm until Sunday at noon on our LAN parties, no one dead yet...just a bunch of really sleepy guys on Sunday. Hell, we did Friday to Monday skipping school when I was in Junior/Senior year and right after when EQ first came out I wouldnt move for 48! Get home from Microsoft and start playing until I had to go into work again. Again, sitting for more than an hour leads to all kinds of health issues, over time, not immediately, these guys are probably on smack and energy drinks and don't move a muscle beyond their hands and eyes.

Anyway, off to finish DA:I, got about 30 hours left, I'll let you know if I die. Err, well someone will.

Peeing into it doesn't require you to stick willy in it. Yes, it happens because your only other option is to hang off the side of the armor while it's moving and risk falling off/getting run over because training doesn't stop just because someone needs to pee.
 
I guess this guy was wearing a diaper, or using a pee bottle of some sort....

I've been awake for more than 24 hours a while back doing LAN party stuff, but not sitting the whole time. There were bathroom/food/booze/smoke breaks... nowadays the thought of more than 4 or 5 hours of straight gaming makes me shake my head. Anyway if I'm drinking enough Bawls or whatever to stay awake I'm probably peeing every hour anyway.

Sorry dude. I have a bathroom and I like to wash my hands as well -- though if I was in a war zone like others have mentioned, I'd be using a bottle too.

I still don't get it, can you draw a picture? And equally confusing, are you or are you NOT supposed to then drink it? Some say no, Bear Grylls says yes.
