What's your phone plan?

I'm on the ATT $100 15gig plan with 2 phones and various discounts, my monthly is like $120'ish.

Last month I went to 20gig's and wasn't over charged.

I think my plan expired in 2007 or 2008. Not going to renew keeping unlimited for as long as I possibly can.
 
I'm on Sprints Framily Plan with 9 users. I pay 25$ a month for unlimited everything except data which I get 1 gig of monthly. I'm sticking with this plan until they force me off of it. Everyone on my plan pays 25$ a month.
 
Verizon nationwide talk 450 i pay 62 a month with taxes with my employer discount but i only get 450 mins unlimited data but i have not text. I use a separate texting app for my text.

Page Plus Cellular, Standard Plan (pay as you go)

Uses Verizon's network, 3G only. 4G is available starting with the $29.95/month prepaid plan.

I only use voice and text, no data. I buy the $80 refills, available only from Page Plus resellers and good for 365 days, although I refill more often. Refills can be had for 10% off from sellers like http://PrepayRefill.com. The $80 PIN is normally 4¢ per minute for voice, 5¢ per text, 10¢ per MB of data, with 10% off it works out to 3.6¢ per minute for voice, 4.5¢ per text, 9¢ per MB. On average, I spend less than $10 a month for phone service.

T-Mobile family plan, 100 dollars for unlimited everything + tethering at 3.5GB or something for both phones on the plan.

I've got the same plan. Paying $66 with my discount. Google Voice for texting.
 
T-mobile $50/month pre-paid, unlimited voice / text, and 1GB of "high speed data" afterwhich it slows me down. No penalty for going over the cap.

This on a LG Optimus L90, which I got new for $100, no contract.

Yikes, that was even worse then mine when I had a grandfathered unlimited data line. I was paying $120 for only one line with them. How the mighty have fallen

My wife and I are hanging on my brother's business plan. I think he has 8 gigs and never goes over 6 with his business using the bulk of it for mobile transmission. We are almost always wifi.
 
Right now its just me on Cricket at the $35 1gb plan. They actually just upped that plan to 2.5 GB so I don't foresee me needing to up my data. If I go over 2.5 w/e, it just means I'm on my phone too much.

That should be for two lines because I have the same plan with 2 lines and it was about $135/month before I added another line for my mom with 2GBs of data (w/ unlimited everything else), which brought it up to $190/month and she pays 1/3 of my bill.
 
T-Mobile. $100/mo for 2 lines. Unlimited data, talk, text and 5GB tethering.
 
I am thinking of adding 2 more lines to my parents cricket accounts. It would be 100$ for 4 lines with now 2.5GB of data now which would be plenty. 25$ a line is not bad.
 
I have T-Mobile and 4 lines for $100. Since I work nights on a regular rotation, I pay an extra $20 for unlimited 4G for a monthly bill of about $130 after all of the tax and fees.

Atleast you're making good use of your data plan. But I think $180 a month is still ridiculous.
 
I just switched over to T-Mobile from Sprint. I wanted a "no contract" plan but could not really afford to plop down ~$1400 for two new phones for me and my wife right now, so I went with T-Mobile's pseudo no contract (i.e. actually financing) plan. (Side Note: why didn't other carriers think of this? They change almost nothing insofar as having the customer on the hook for two years, but they get to market it as a "no contract" plan. Brilliant marketing, to me. The only reason I am not bothered by it is I plan on paying off the phones early and thus lowering the bill, something I doubt many customers would actually do.)

At Sprint it was a grandfathered unlimited everything plan for $193/month after taxes and fees for two lines. T-mobile is roughly $140 after taxes and fees for unlimited minutes and texts and a so-called "unlimited" data plan that slows down data speeds after I hit 1GB per month. (Without financing it is $80 for the two lines before taxes and fees.)

I was a T-mobile customer years and years ago and I left because their voice coverage was so awful. It was saved only by their wifi calling. At least in my part of San Francisco it seems great now, but I have not ventured far with the phone yet. We shall see. With the data caps and the possibility of crappy voice service that some people tell me about I will be utilizing wifi signals much more, something I often ignored on Sprint.

You gotta learn how not to get shafted

2 lines with unlimited 4G on each line would be $80 for the shared plan + $40 for unlimited 4G on each line.

http://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/family.html shows the price is $140 but you can get it for $120 by getting the plan and then adding unlimited data for $20 each line when you login to my tmobile.

If you do add two lines, you can get the fifth one free until March 2016. I'm paying $100 for 5 lines on Cricket.

No thanks, I don't want to pay $40 more per month for something I don't need.

Two things I think you have missed: 1. It is a financing/installment plan (i.e. a marketing gimmick), not a real "no contract plan." You sign a contract to pay for the phone in installments. Yes I can leave early....and pay for the phone, so not a ton of difference from an ETF since most pro rate now anyway. If I could cancel my T-mobile service tomorrow and still keep the installment plan in place, sure, that's an interesting twist, but according to their contract language I can't do that. It's only a true month to month plan if you bring your own phone or buy a new phone outright.

2. Signing up for 2 lines of unlimted data for $120 per month would not be very smart right now since there is currently a deal for two lines of unlimted 4G data for $100 per month. Which they were trying to sell me on big time at the store. But I do not want that as based on prior usage rates for me and my wife we can realistically stay under 1GB/month and don't need to spend the extra money. Also keep in mind the numbers you are quoting are minus the added monthly cost of the phone financing. The $140 I pay now is including phone installment plan for 2 phones and your standard taxes and fees. The actual plan itself is the $80 month 2 line plan on their website.

ATT sucks always adding something always try to cheat and cut corners. For the last 2 weeks all my I phones are extremely slow. When I press the letters one after another you can actually see the enlarged "shadow" of the precious letter. So you have to wait couple of seconds and see the screen automatically typing your previous 4-6 letters.
I have 5 lines I think T - Mobile is my way out. Unfortunately I can't use the I phones with their services and paying $600 bucks per phone is a lot of money !!! Do I have to use their phone or can I buy the same exact model from here ( for example ). Or buy 2-3 cheap phones from them and replacing them later. ?? Don't know if I should ask this question - but oh well.
Anybody here have a any good phones I could use with T-Mobile. Please message me

I was a Sprint customer for close to 15 years. Just moved to Ting a few months ago when my last Sprint contract was up. I mainly text now and rarely use minutes and am usually on WiFi at home and work. I didn't feel like paying $80/month anymore. My last 2 bills were $20 a month.

Phone decided to crap out after a month of the switch so I had to buy a used phone out of pocket, but the savings from 3 months of Ting will pay for the phone. Otherwise I would end up saving even more.

that's fine, especially since t-mobile doesn't charge overage and only throttle you down to 128kbits/s when you go over (music freedom doesnt get throttled)

also, you can temporarily upgrade to the +$10/month 3GB tier (it gets pro-rated) and downgrade the next month... you do get the free 10GB rollover data bucket at 3GB tier (but you lose all of it if you downgrade back to 1GB though... it's a 1-time thing)

Unlimited EVERYTHING.

Unlimited 4gLTE is sweet. I tether my phone to the rig when I dl Steam games etc.

Both T-Mobile and mpcs have two types of plans, both no overages

1) plans with X GB of (high speed) data (up to LTE speeds), then throttled to 2G speeds after (64-128kbits/s)

Any type of data you use (over 2g/3g/LTE) counts towards the first X GB. After you get throttled, you still can connect to LTE and get lower latency, only your speeds get reduced

2) plans with unlimited LTE data (and 5GB of hotspot for T-Mobile, metropcs offers paid upgrade for hotspot). This one, no throttling at all

Mpcs is supposed to have lower priority than T-Mobile customers on the same towers, but usually you don't see much of a difference. Mpcs doesn't get access to the same roaming agreements either, or music freedom or Intl data roaminf
