How Long Would It Take You To Beat The Games In Your Steam Library?

Im not sure I want to see how long it will take me to beat all the games I own. Im already pretty much convinced that there are some games I own that I will not have time to play because of the rate that I keep buying new games. Maybe one day when im retired I will finally have time to enjoy all the games I own.

3463 continuous hours or i could travel to the moon 33 times, lol i buy too many bundles

I hope Steam is around when I retire so I can finish my games then. It's this damn day job that takes up so much of my time ...

I think I need to stop buying games, 1578 hours, or I could watch the entirety of Star Trek, Twice.

2758 hours and Run 23,645 miles (though you might need a water break)

I had hope that I might actually one day complete the backlog :(

TeeJayHoward, it would take you 1369 continuous hours (57 days,1 hour,39 minutes) of gameplay to complete your Steam library. In this time, you could watch the entire Harry Potter film series 68 times.

I feel inadequate... :(

It would take you...
867 continuous hours 36 days,3 hours,49 minutes of gameplay to complete your Steam library
IN THIS TIME YOU COULD...Watch the entirety of Doctor Who 2 times

3047 continuous hours
126 days,23 hours,25 minutes

Thus purely games I haven't played? Or is it just all of them?

14883 continuous hours
1 year, 255 days, 3 hours, 58 minutes of gameplay to complete your Steam library

I could film the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy one time.
Watch the Lord of the Rings Trilogy 1,307 times.
Go through pregnancy 2 times.

You win... Wow!

It would take you...
5207 continuous hours
216 days,23 hours,31 minutes

Wow I thought I had a lot but some of you guys put me to shame...

1905 continuous hours
79 days,9 hours,58 minutes

hmp, only 1591 continuous hours...66 days 7 hours. I really, really hope I never achieve this feat.

2371 continuous hours or 98 days,19 hours,52 minutes of gameplay to complete your Steam library. Write 4,743 blog posts which would never happen because I don't like writing that much lol. I think it might be doable...someday.

Doh ...

8027 continuous hours
334 days,11 hours,7 minutes

or I could fly around the world 200 times, watch the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings films back to back 411 times, watch the Star Wars original trilogy 1270 times

So when is the next steam sale ;)

I am an amateur.

257 continuous hours

or I could watch Avatar 90 times.

Nah, I'm an amateur, only 76 hours. I don't have a lot of steam games, I guess it doesn't count games you have already beat, a few GTA games probably take up the lions share of that, got a couple other RTS games that I'm not sure how it computes "time to finish"... either way took me almost as much time to find out what the hell my steamID was as it took to find out how much time it would take to finish

It would take me 6608 continuous hours (275 days,8 hours,24 minutes).

I'm not surprised, since I haven't been playing games for quite a while.... thus the low interest in Steam sales.

5152 continuous hours
214 days,16 hours,17 minutes

Fly from New York to London 1,472 times on a Concorde jet

This thread makes me feel so muhc better now about my backlog:
only 2282 continuous hours. Oddly enough that's only 10 hours per game on average.

What is the average amount of hours required to beat the average game? I realize defining "average" could be controversial. If we say 20 hours for 50 games, that'd be 1,000 hours.

There are some games in there I would never play. So... it would take forever to complete it.

7766 hours:

No Surprise. I buy games but get less and less time to waste on them, so... Ever increasing backlog is created. If I do get time to game, it takes more time to decide what to play than is left to play it... :) Or I just play D3 and avoid steam altogether...

"It will take you 0 continuous hours of gameplay to complete your Steam library."

"Congratulations on having a life! Now go out there and live it!"

:D
