I need to run quickbooks remotely.

I have an android tablet.

Im thinking the best route would be to remote in and run it off the desktop.

The problem is, how can i remote into my pc if im not on my home network?

there is an app for that as my brother remotes into his pc from his S5 from my house.
He has 3 screens as well and the app recognizes that and he just scrolls left and right to see the screens.
I'll ask him tomorrow what app that is.

your tablet will need internet access for this to work.

Teamviewer works well and is free. It's what most people went to when LogMeIn went to paid access only.

Forward the RDP port and connect like you would normally, but use your WAN IP instead.

BAD idea, like seriously very much so a BAD idea.
RDP is great for internal networks and VPN connections but there's enough problems with it that it's never a good idea to expose it to the internet directly.

Just use RDP. It is a Microsoft app on Android.
