Showing $59 now. I bought an older version of one of these and ended up going back to having multiple remotes. Are the new ones much better?

I still use (and like) the Harmony 700. Might be worth buying a 2nd one. I use mine to control an XBOX / TV / Blu-ray / Amp combo

I thought Logitech had dropped the Harmony product line, though.

I've had great luck with the Harmony products, however, I've decided that I'm simply not going to do the retarded clusterfuck of redundant devices anymore.

Each TV has a PC attached to it, and the PC does everything and anything. Play movies, play games, watch TV, record TV, check the internet, do shopping, work on my resume, whatever. No more switching inputs because there's only one input.

Shelf looks SO much cleaner now too.

I have a HTPC in addition to 3 gaming consoles, a Denon receiver with dual external bi amps, and a cable box, and a roku 3.

The HTPC does work well in addition to everything else, but for me the HTPC is not the end all solution. Long live the PC master race :p

On topic: Bought it, set it up. Took less than a hour. Works perfectly, bye bye 5 remotes.

I saw this on SD for $50, hesitated for a day, then BB jacked it back up to $60. I know, you snooze, you lose. :(

This was back on sale in the past few days for anyone interested @ $50 shipped/picked up.

Even at 60 I would have picked it up. Got rid of 5 remotes using just this. And the setup was a breeze.

I agree... I set mine up last night and it was better/faster than my old 1st gen logitech harmony controller.. Worth the $50 i spent on it..

Got one from my secret santa. It was very easy to program and has worked well with my system. I like it a lot.

I've had a few Harmony remotes in the past 10 years but their software sucks so bad and it takes forever just to change the function of one button that I have just gone with a learning Universal Remote Control. Couldn't be happier. I have the WR7 (now discontinued but you can still find it listed at Home Depot $25).
