>135g wired gaming mouse?

I'm looking for a mouse for my second rig. I'd like something heavier than my Razer Naga Epic mouse, which is 135g. Everyone seems to be focusing on going the other way with lightweight mice. Is there a super-heavy mouse out there, or have I missed the boat?

Preferences:
Click-type scroll wheel
Side forward/backwards buttons
Laser
Claw-grip, but the bigger, the better
No absurd software required (*cough*Razer*cough*)
Solid/heavy duty/self-defense nunchuck mouse

Budget:
Try to keep it under $150. Let's not get too absurd!

Looks like the GX1000 can be up to 175g? Anything heavier than that out there?

Logitech G700s

It doesn't list the weight on the Logitech site but review sites listed it as 147g.

I actually have 2 of the older one, the G700 which is the exact same mouse. I bought 2 because I love this mouse so much that I wanted a backup just in case one broke (I found one used on kijiji for $50). But I've had my G700 now for 3 years and it has gone through some slammings on the desk (yes I do get a little angry when I play multiplayer games sometimes hehe) and it still works like it did from day 1.

Yes it's "wireless" but you can use it wired as I do. But even when I tried it wireless, I did not notice any lag in games at all. The reasons why I use wired are because I took the battery out for a little less weight and do not have to deal with the battery charging.

As for software, you will need to download Logitech's software to program the mouse the way you want (buttons, different DPI for on-the-fly DPI switching) but you can store up to 3 profiles on the mouse itself. After you program your mouse, you can uninstall the software and use the mouse itself to switch between the 3 profiles. One of my favorite things is to turn off on-the-fly DPI and reprogram the buttons for something else. If you don't want to use more than 1 profile then you can reprogram that button to something else too.

It's not a laser mouse though but why not a G502 and shove all the weights in

Also check out the Rat 7 (adjustable everything) and Thermaltake Level 10 M. These are both laser sensors and quite heavy.

I hadn't considered the Level 10 M. At 185g without the cable, it's no lightweight. Thanks!

Edit: The G502 looks to be 164g with all the weights in it. Leaning more towards the metal mice now, but I'm a big Logitech fan, so... It's on the list too. Good suggestions!
