Twitch Bans Sexually Suggestive Clothing

meh - there are way better places online if I wanted to see a nice rack. The best part is along with said rack I can see the girl chugging down a cock or 10 at the same time.

I love me some T&A, but I play games because they are, you know, games. Not some backwards way to see boobs of a total stranger.

Just like any other area in life, if any woman wants to be taken seriously, she needs to put her tits away, can the cutesy talk, and pouty lips, and act like a normal fucking human being. Act like an attention whore, get treated like one.

It's really a good thing. Sexuality has been pretty much at the root of many major societal problems and men _constantly_ whine that it's being used as a weapon against them, but they always end up putting themselves in a position of weakness when it comes to this kinda thing. Since guys suck and the girls are slutting themselves, I think the best thing would be for people to not be allowed to have webcams except for scientific research or by municipal permit. The technology is already widely available though so the next best thing is clamping down on people using them until we can get more effective at moderating video streams in real time and shutting down disgusting stuff.

OR, we can realize that it's none of our fucking business what people do in the realm of sexuality (outside of abuse of minors), and butt the fuck out.

Well to be fair, it's more about setting standards for their own site. They have to draw the line somewhere in order to ensure that the site's focus remains on gaming only, and not get turned into some webcam for horny guy site.

If someone wishes to use their own body for money, that's fine but they will have to do it somewhere else and not on a streaming service meant for gaming.

I see where you're coming from, but it's just so hard to define these things, the wording makes it sounds like "don't live a certain lifestyle" rather than a clearer "don't be nude or have sex" rule to me for example.

One of my concern with this is once you set such vague rules then it can be abused, cause uncertainty, or invite bullying and intimidation, people having to walk on eggshells and such. Can see it turning away some people due to gender or lifestyle, or causing streams to become silly sanitized shows with fake personalities instead of genuine interactions with a normal person.

Lets say the next vague law may involve beefing up of rules regarding cussing or bad language, How would people react to that? ManVsGame would be out of business, or even the tame LethalFrag could get in trouble since he throws the F word once a week. How much is excessive, what words are allowed? What cultural background can get you in trouble the most?

It's a can of worms, you take a bite somewhere and other liberties may suffer from the crusades of prudes.

It wasn't that big of a deal IMO. There was only a couple women on twitch who did that, most of the streamers were more legitimate and most people watching twitch were watching legit streams.

A site admin probably requested noodz from one of the slut streamers and got denied, so he went into a nerd rage policy change

I would agree in principal, but since that kinda interaction almost always involves at least two or more people, someone gets adversely impacted by the fact that it happens. Besides that, it's revolting, transmits diseases (that are sometimes fatal), and creates tons of drama along with making people upset who then drive around and cause car accidents. It's a serious problem and we can't just ignore it so it keeps happening in an unregulated manner. We have some really good laws already that protect certain groups of people, but broader, more inclusive regulation needs to be put in place at the national level to control the population and keep it from messing things up for not only themselves, but everyone else too. We're just not that isolated from one another anymore.

This isn't a government sanctioned website, it's a privately owned company that can and should have it's own discretion on what it deems as "inappropriate, offensive or vulgar". They do that in an attempt to cater to as wide an audience as they possibly can - the wider the audience, the more the revenue.

The whole "my liberties are being violated!" argument falls flat on it's face because of that. You don't have a right to see whatever you want to see on a privately owned streaming website, and the streamers don't have a right to stream whatever they want to stream on a privately owned streaming website - you all agree to the terms and conditions of the site when you use it.

If you don't like it, open up your own game streaming service without all the limitations - THAT is your right.

Feel free to ignore if I'm missing the point, but am I understanding that the tldr; here is that: sex is evil because it creates drama and transmits diseases?

Here is one of the biggest sluts on Twitch.
http://www.twitch.tv/tarababcock
go look at her big fake tits and blond hair before she's forced to put on a shirt haha
all she talks about is sex and sounds like a guy..
she says she likes it in the ass..nice lol.
seriously

She even puts on her page "okay to fap"

and

http://www.twitch.tv/kaceytron/profile

So selling her tits.

I get the whole "don't judge women because of what they wear" but there are women who clearly and obviously use their body to get what they want in life, and because of those women, men tend to judge other women who dress the same.

Why do you have to "show off" parts of you're body like that? Because fact is you want attention, you want people to look...

If all men walked around in tight tight nut hugging jeans with their dicks down their legs showing, women would stare and galk and make comments.....

Twitch sluts wanted to be big fish in a small pond. If they got into the webcam business they'd be small fish.

Well, I think I hafta say that's kind of an oversimplification of the point I was getting at. I don't think it's fair to call it evil. Gross, yes. Silly and pointless, yeah. Not evil, because I really don't think evil is well-defined enough to actually use in serious discussion. It's emotionally-laden and people have their own ideas of what makes something evil or not. Also, sex is great as the creator of many, many jokes too so it has some amount of benefit to the world. The price is really too high though for what it gives back.

I really did not know this was even a thing. LOL!

This is not about forcing Twitch to do something, it's about discussing what this means for the streaming community involved, you can come off your soapbox now.

I just hope the prudes don't use this as an instrument for attacking and bullying others. Happens in other mediums so wouldn't be surprised. Heck, someone simply forgets to change the name of the game being played and some nuts send them threats about that as is.

Fully nude torsos are banned but not fully nude from the nipples up..... Hmmm.... Odd.

Did you just called sex gross, silly and pointless?
I'm seriously happy I'm not you, I couldn't live without sex.

Hmmm sex.

His account is satire btw. Waiting for him to come out saying "It was a social experiment."

I actually approve of this. My reasons are as diverse as they are complicated, but I approve.

Yes, I did. Contrary to Nick's claim, I'm also serious. There's some stuff I joke around about, but not that and I think that most people secretly agree with me about it, but refuse to admit it to themselves or to others because of what it implies about life in general and interacting with people more specifically.

Thank you twitch.

I was more than a little tired of having to compete for viewers with unskilled chicks with zero personality and zero anything except their willingness to show as much tit as they could get away with.

Twitch is a competition?

I find a long dress that covers everything more sexually suggestive than a bathing suit... leaves more to the imagination, ya know?

I also suspect there is some kinda butt-hurt revenge type of thing going on behind the scenes. Maybe the new person in charge is a former female "gamer" who is seeking revenge on all other female "gamers" because her new rack didn't give her the popularity she had hoped.

they should just require everyone to wear a burka if they are going to show themselves playing a game.

They can crop or zoom the video in to just their face if they insist that they won't change their clothing style just for twitch.

But, lets be blunt. If a woman is showing a ton of cleavage or a man is going shirtless ... it is for a reason. If the woman really didn't want attention and just had big breasts she would crop the video to just her face. She knows that large breasts and showing cleavage is going to get certain attention and if she wants to avoid it she knows how.

Two main reasons to show off in front of the camera are:

1) You know it'll get the hits/followers and you crave the attention.

2) You're making a statement about how you should be able to dress/not dress how you want and nobody should tell you different.

Either way, you're not doing it innocently, not unless you're a very young/sheltered kid.

If you're broadcasting videos of yourself to the public it's a safe bet that you're "craving" attention or money, regardless of what you're wearing.

I REALLY hope you are being sarcastic and just forgot some kind of smily-because if not, that is one of the most fucked up things I have read for quite some time.

She wouldn't have Twitch account, not one that anybody would watch anyways, if not for those tits!!!! She KNOWS that! BTW, as a self-described "nerd" she's a complete MORON!!!! Check this video out-> http://www.twitch.tv/kaceytron/c/5231089
Those fun-bags are her ONLY saving grace...

Kaceytron is a troll channel and comedy sketch that doesn't stop. It is pretty fantastic when you realize what it is.

I think I was basically going for oversimplification there based on just face value. I'm trying really hard to put my understanding hat on here, and figure out why you think sex is silly and pointless, and most of all, gross. Going on that oversimplification path again, and generalizing to a degree, I think we can generally agree that in today's society, the differentiator in relationship vs. friendship is sex, is it not?

lol that's where you fucked up. With CUG posts, I still read them, but I do so for entertainment and then move on. Rarely does it add anything worthwhile to a conversation, but often does it succeed in derailing a thread.

I favor this ... in general i favor punishing / silencing narcissists however, if it was in my power I would make "Reality TV" illegal for example.

the world would be a much better place if all the attention whores of the world could be muzzled... / cured of their attention whoring aliment.

Dang :( so does this mean with can't have "The Gimp" in the background when recording our videos?
