So conflicted. I was about to order a 780 TI today. If a new card comes out soon then GG. I wonder If I get EVGA will they let me step up to the new card for less than 100$

I decided to post this one up here:

How to link an image taken with windows snippet tool?

I copied theURL below it and nothing, any help?

just hit printscreen on your keyboard and paste/crop the image in paint, then upload to imgur

The internet is terrible so imgur is not loading. It is also under over capacity.

Snipping tool saves an image but not the URL.

Interesting, didn't know there was a GTC Japan. Was kind of disappointed by this years earlier GTC as nothing was really announced PC GPU wise. Not a drop of Maxwell info which was shocking enough and even the new codename was just a replacement for Volta with now Volta pushed back and nothing special about it besides some made up name at this point.

Don't know how big this conference is over there, but I have very little doubt they'll announce anything worth paying attention to if they didn't do it at the big one earlier in March.

I would not throw off GTC Japan for now.

It is aimed for pro GPUs though but NV might showcase Pro GPUs based on Maxwell.

He is something to consider:

I got to know that Mid range Maxwell based GPUs are outsourced to another company(does not know the name) due to TSMC`s high amounts of faulty 28nm fabs. Which can be confirmed by a high amount of Gk 104 gpus, recently launched GT 730 and A1 revision (less efficient version than B1 is) released along with first Kepler GPUs(like with 780s) that was later replaced by a B1 revision.

Which coincides with the recent GM204 details, a mobile based 28nm GPUs and GM 107 which is also manufactured using 28nm design.

Looks like I'll be skipping this one, I don't see anything there worth getting hyped about, or maybe I'm missing something.

I just want to see some new Nvidia cards soon. My GTX 470 has served me well but it is beyond time to upgrade it, I just can't see buying any of the current cards out right now since the new ones are coming this year...eventually.

Gotta get those posts in........

Hahhaha that was the first thing that crossed my mind. In any case I need to upgrade, still slogging it with a 285, though its kept me going surprisingly well. I'm due for system overhaul

I'll wait until we actually have the cards before I start jumping to conclusions. We go through this cycle of fud and rumors every generation. I sure hope the 880 doesn't disappoint though, I'm counting the days until I can dump these damn amd cards.

If it gets released in july, 28nm will be a sure bet for this card.

at this point i think 28nm is unavoidable. so might as well release it now i guess.

i don't think TSMC is even thinking about 20nm for anything but mobile right now, if ever.
